Reliably well prepared and served food in a lovely outdoor space!

Excellent food and service. We were sat right on time for our reservation and had our choice of inside or outside seating. We opted for inside where the mood was warm and inviting but still felt fresh. Our server was attentive and kept up with our ordering dishes in no particular order to share with the table. Wonderful experience.

I told them that it was a very special occasion, but they ignored it. A dessert and candles would have added a nice touch. Asked for a wine carafe for our special Zin, but never received it.

First time in 3 months having food served in a restaurant. It was nice to feel comfortable in a restaurant setting and the staff did an excellent job respecting social distance and sanitation standards.

My husband and I have been spending our summers in Sunriver for the past 7 years and love South Bend Bistro!! The servers have become friends and Laura, the owner is delightful and such a warm person. The food is amazing!! If you want a lovely fine dining experience this is the place!!

This was our first night out since March due to COVID 19, the food was amazing, the service perfect - and we felt very comfortable dining w social distancing.

It’s our favorite place in Central Oregon. Food was to die for, service was impeccable.

We had a date night here on Friday and it was quite lovely overall. At first we were slightly frustrated that it took so long for a server to come over and say hello - we had planned our entire meal out at least 3 times before being greeted and the prices are expensive so we were feeling a little shafted on the experience. We were also seated without a drink menu so there was an additional delay for that. However they recovered quickly and after the rough start, the night continuously improved from there. The drinks were delightful and the food unbeatable. As our experience continued it was impossible to ignore how friendly the staff are. We came to understand that the reason we were delayed service at first, is because the staff has such a rapport with the customers that they were able to have personal conversations as if they were catching up with friends. This made our experience unforgettable as we got to know our server. If you're looking for a quiet night out with handcrafted, PNW-inspired food and cocktails, and service that makes you feel at home - this is the place for you.

Honestly every dish we’ve ever had there is amazing, but my favorites are the crispy chicken and the halibut dish! Do not miss this place when next in Sunriver! Perfect for date night or family gatherings!

We made South Bend Bistro our first restaurant meal post-COVID. We sat outside where the seating was designed to keep patrons separated by a minimum of 6' but was probably more. I appreciate that extra space. Food, as usual, was outstanding. It was great to see our favorite server again.

This is our favorite place to eat in Sunriver. The food is always top notch, and the atmosphere is casually upscale. We love eating on the patio during the summer, and it always ends up being one of our favorite meals of the season.

Really lovely food, by far the best in Sunriver! We had salmon, crispy chicken and orechiette pasta...all superb. Great crab cakes, bread & butter and wine to start. Wonderful server too!

Beet salad always a favorite! Delicious salmon and pistachio crusted halibut was amazing. We always look forward to dinning at South Bend Bistro. They never disappoint us!

We have been enjoying splendid meals @ S Bend Bistro for years. In Sunriver, it is our favorite overall dining experience. The food is excellently prepared & delicious. The wait staff David, Arwin & Laura the owner are very friendly & always take care of anything we request. We always bring our out of town guests & they all say it’s the best meal they have had in a long time.

Good food, good people, nice deck. Whats not to like? Great meal. Will be back.

Great dinner on Saturday for reopening of the restaurant on Memorial Day Weekend! I ordered the Summer Berry Salad it was refreshing and colorful! King Salmon entree was cooked perfectly along with the asparagus mounted on mashed potato. My husband enjoyed his Halibut dinner and we loved the bottle of Rombauer wine! Service was great behind our happy friendly masked-gloved waitress. Would definitely reserve a table again!

Looked forward to dining at one of our favorite spots in Sunriver as restaurants reopened. An exceptional, comfortable experience. Everything handled so well, sanitized, top notch. Salmon was excellent!! Service was outstanding.

First day off of stay at home order. My friend and I went in together. She’s never been. It was SO amazing to be out. The food (as always) was delicious. The staff (as always) were very accommodating. This is a location you need a reservation or at least call ahead to see if they can seat you!!
