   This restaurant is beautiful and quaint. Our server Linda was very personable and professional. The food was 10/10! One of the items we ordered was not available and they gave us the substitution option at half price! Very accommodating and love the overhead music playing. This was by far the best food I have tasted from a soul food restaurant! Not too salty or too sweet, nothing was overcooked or undercooked. Pure perfection! Would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone.

   Nice, cozy diner with very nice staff. Our server was very cordial, friendly and accommodating. The food was enjoyable. I'd love to return on a week day with maybe less crowd.

   This was our first time at the restaurant on 1931 W Chicago. It was small and quaint but the ambience was top notch. The waitress was extremely pleasant and service was on point and the food was extremely tasty from the appetizers to the main course I have nothing to complain about. Will definitely return. If I could give 10 stars I would 🤗

   The food we were able to try was delicious! However, we requested three different items on the menu and they all ran out. The menu is very small and limited so it was a shock to hear we do not have pasta, jerk chicken or lamb chops. We were given our check while we were still eating and never offered dessert. I found that to be odd especially since we were celebrating my daughter's birthday. We were from out of town and wanted to support a black business and still happy we did! The music was great and the servers were very sweet and friendly.

   Absolutely perfect for what I was looking for! Good food with a chill atmosphere! Love the music & waiter definitely was on point. BYOB so we took a personal & it was perfect for two!

   My waitress was very kind and attentive. The food was really good. Wish I got the Mac instead of the mashed potatoes because they were a little under seasoned, under-buttered . Besides that everything was amazing and I will be back.

   Baby the place smell good & looked good customer service was nice & baby the food was good as hell . Forgive me for the language but please go check this spot out you wound regret

   As a first timer I was highly impressed by the Customer Service, we were seated right away, and the wait staff wasted no time with getting water to the table and then asked if we wanted appetizers right off the bat. Once we made our order the food was prepared and brought to the table faster than I expected. The Food was outstanding, I was pleasantly surprised at how good the entrees where and then the main meal was THE BOMB!!! We'll definitely be back.
