   Food was wonderful! Well portioned sizes, and well seasoned. The wait staff was subpar. We sat for 25 mins with no sight of a waiter. He was very distracted and behaved very disorganized. He never brought our drinks…like never during the meal. We got the drinks as we weee exiting the table. He never refilled our water glasses, didn’t offer dessert either. Lastly, it was obvious that we were first timers, as we were incredibly indecisive. He offered absolutely no suggestions. His name was Jeremiah or Jared…something with a J. Although, it was not a favorable waitstaff experience, I did like the food, so I will visit again when I’m in town. Ambiance: 8/10 Music playlist was excellent, but very loud…difficult to have conversations. Food : 8/10 For reference::: We ordered: honey drizzled fried chicken (excellent) , lamb chops (really good), fried salmon with jerk pasta (just ok), jerk chicken wings (excellent), greens ( pretty good) , sweet potatoes ( pretty good) and dirty rice ( just ok). or

   Seems like for parties of 5 or more the service is minimum since they add a 20% gratuity. We had to flag the waiter down every time we need something. He never came to check on the table or ask us if we needed anything. We were a party of 8 and the entrees did not all come out at the same time. There was a 5 minute gap between delivering 1-2 entrees at a time. Some of the food was like warm by the time it got to the table.Server never came and asked us how everything was. Nice ambience, food was ok. Service definitely needs improvement.

   We celebrated my daughter’s 22nd bday & she really enjoyed this Gem in the hood. The food was good , portions were generous. I Definitely recommend this restaurant. For some reason this site won’t allow me to post my pictures.

   Service was fine. We asked for our dessert to be “to go” and it took her a minute to give us the ice cream that came with the dessert…the restaurant wasn’t full at all. I ordered the jerk salmon pasta. It wasn’t anything to rave about and I was charged $2 more than displayed on the menu for the dish. The pound cake serving was a joke. Skip dessert, you’re better off going elsewhere due to the serving sizes.

   The place was very pretty. The drinks and the food were good. The service was okay, overall, I'd give it an 8/10. I would definitely return.

    The experience was taken away by being rushed with a 90 minute table limit.
