   I recently visited Soul Prime Restaurant and while the food was decent, my overall experience was marred by several issues that I feel compelled to share. Firstly, the wait time was excessively long, which was quite disappointing. I understand that restaurants can be busy, but the delay seemed beyond reasonable. Secondly, I encountered a frustrating situation with the billing process. I left a tip in cash, only to later discover that a service charge had been added to my bill without my knowledge. When I asked the waitress how much I would be charged, she only provided the total for the food, omitting any mention of the service charge. Despite requesting a receipt multiple times, I was never given one, which added to my frustration. Upon calling the restaurant to speak with the manager, I was refunded the cash tip I had left, which was a small relief. However, I am still dissatisfied because the waitress was not forthcoming with the full details of my bill. I feel deceived and cannot justify supporting a business that operates in this manner. I work hard for my money and expect honesty and transparency when dining out. Unfortunately, Soul Prime Restaurant fell short in these areas. Based on this experience, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this establishment to others.

   Food is always awesome. I highly recommend the peach cobbler waffles and fried chicken wings. The peach lemonade and the grits.

   Food was simply perfect, the collards were the best I’ve ever tasted. Portion very generous- we took home lots of leftovers!

   Had a solo lunch here the other day and the staff were extremely friendly and professional. The Collard Green Dip is amazing and a must have before you make your entree choice. The location, food and vibe is a 10/10. Will be back in the future!

    Overall, it was a very good experience. The restaurant is smaller than expected, but the atmosphere was warm and inviting. No seemed to mind sharing information on their selections. The fried green tomatoes were thinly sliced, seasoned well, and fried to perfection. I could have omitted the lump crab. The short rib tacos were a little salty and oily for my taste but eatable. Lastly, I had the smoked salmon Cesar salad. The flavor was great. If I have it again, which means I will probably return, I'll ask for pieces of salmon instead of flakes. The corn muffins were delicious!
