   Soul retains the high standards set by the original owner. The fish was beautiful prepared and presented and cooked perfectly. The terrace tables on a warm and sunny day are fabulous under the floral baskets-and looking over the viaduct basin it feels like you are transported somewhere else. The staff were attentive without being over the top. I am never disappointed when I visit Soul.

   Great location, food and wine selection. Tuna tartare, salt and pepper squid, lamb a bit rare, fillet of beef medium rare and a nice bottle of Zinfandel. Too full for dessert. Definitely will go again.

   Everything is so good that I make the Soul a regular stop for an excellent meal. It’s a real pleasure to eat & drink 🍸 in this restaurant.

   Planned all day for this dinner and was excited to have the whole fish. They were out of it :( Food is very high end and lots of odd seasonings and ingredients. Shrimp scampi was not as one would expect, flan was more like a polenta cake. A very expensive dinner that did not meet the high expectations from the reviews. Just my opinion Restaurant very loud and sterile Not good for any conversation

   All the seats inside and out at this lovely place are harbor view. We had a bit of trouble understanding the menu descriptions but our waiter, Zach was very helpful. My husband had the steak with oyster starter and I had the local fish and "red rascals". All very delicious. A nice start to our month long visit to New Zealand and Australia

    Excellent! Because of reviews on Open Table we visited Soul last weekend while visiting Auckland. We were not disappointed. We had an excellent experience. The main course tuna was outstanding and my husband's snapper was delicious. We were fortunate to have a table on the patio and the view and weather were perfect.
