   We were warmly welcomed as soon as we walked through the door and were given a choice of tables. Service was prompt & efficient throughout our visit, but never intrusive. The food was clearly freshly cooked & was well presented with generous portions. Staff were friendly & attentive.

   As always a warm friendly attentive welcome. Lovely atmosphere and amazing food. Tried the lunch menu and was perfect for a little treat with hubby. The absolute best place to dine in Folkestone

   Made very welcome when we arrived at the restaurant, the food we had was very nice. We arrived at 7pm, the time of our booking, knowing that the restaurant closed at 9pm. After our main course plates were cleared, we were pretty much forgotten about, not offered the dessert menu or asked if we would like coffees etc. we felt this was because they were getting ready to close at 8:30, despite other diners still being at their tables. I’m sure we would have had coffees if not dessert if asked however, we decided to go home for coffee after requesting our bill. Food was very good, but room for improvement on the service!

   My husband and I visited yesterday and both had rib of beef which was absolutely delicious. The portion was massive and exceeding good value for money. The staff were all brilliant and were all helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back.

    We went for lunch and could not fault it. Service was great. Food fantastic! I wish I had room for pudding but we were stuffed! Would highly recommend to anyone. Perfect way to celebrate our anniversary!
