   Our server was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The food was delicious, and very different for the area. Definitely will visit again, and will be recommending.

   I was very disappointed. I ordered the tacos the Muncie described them as having jicama slaw and chilies. Instead they were served to me with lettuce tomato and cheddar cheese. If I wanted that I would just go to Taco Bell. I will not be back anytime soon.

   What an amazing selection of food! Such unique and flavorful dishes, I want to go back and try them all. The hostess and waiter were both so sweet and welcoming, and they’re very clean and COVID friendly. Can’t wait to return.

   We wanted to try SOTE because we are new to the area, and we are so happy we did! The space is pretty inside and feels very open, noise level was good. The staff was friendly, and we enjoyed our dinner very much - tomahawk burger. Irish nachos, fried chicken w red velvet pancakes, gumbo. The service was nice, just a little slow. We appreciated not feeling rushed but one suggestion would be to improve the pace, especially for getting appetizers. Overall we enjoyed our night very much and look forward to our next dinner there.

   It would be difficult to explain the depths of my disappointment with SOTE on every occasion I have eaten there, and I have gone more than once to give the place a second and third and fourth chance. Each time I have been there in a very large space I have been only one of two or three other tables no matter the time of day, and the service has been bizarrely inattentive. The quality of the food is shockingly poor by any normal standards, especially given the prices above the normal local rates. While the menu is creative, the freshness of the ingredients left much to be desired—old lettuce in salad, and frozen seafood in one of my dishes that had not been cooked through completely. The most alarming and strange experience for me at SOTE was making a reservation for myself at 4:30 p.m. on February 14 last year, and being told on my arrival by the hostess that she couldn't seat me that day because I had only made a reservation for one person. The place was completely empty, and they lost my business permanently because of that very strange decision.

   Great food and service. The place is nice inside, but lacks any vibe. Needs the walls filled, possibly with a snow lodge theme. Menu needs to be expanded. Add some pasta, and more unique salads.
