Sortino's - Pocono Manor
Adding a new chapter to a rich culinary history, Sortino’s celebrates the family recipes and generous spirit of its Sicilian immigrant founders. This is the kind of neighborhood Italian joint that could open on your street tomorrow and would feel like it’s been there forever.
The tone is established by the framed family photos at the entrance, and reaffirmed by the maître ‘d’s warm welcome. The aroma of simmering sauces and fresh-baked breads stimulates the appetite, while the sight of bountiful homemade Italian specialties racing from the kitchen to the table catches the eye.

The food was okay. The prices were too high for the quality of the food. The restaurant is beautiful and clean, nice bathrooms. We had a nice time catching up with family.
The only issue we had was that our table was very wobbly and uneven. We didnt say anything just because we had two small kids and would have been more work to change tables. Also, the portions were small especially for the kids. For $10, they only got four raviolli's. That didnt seem worth it, but our food was delicious and the service was nice. I think we would eat other places though when we visit again.
Appetizer was small for price. Entrées were good.
As we have during many years past, we celebrated my sons birthday here. They always make us/him feel special. The service and food were spot on as always. One special app was the bruschetta that was awesome! Can’t wait to return soon.
Great dinner despite being in a large resort. We sat on high top table in bar/lounge area and felt perfectly safe during covid dining. Main room seemed a bit loud but the resort caters to kids so as expected. Food was excellent. Cocktails as well. Service was awesome. $50 per person dining with one drink so a tad pricey. Highly recommend.
Our waitress christina was horrible.
Not only did she not take the time to explain our bill but she was rude
We stared with the mozzarella and fresh tomato. It was so delicious. And for main course I got the seafood Diablo which was fantastic
I like food very much . We will definitely come back to this place
Great time! Our waitresses were amazing.
The food and service were excellent. Everyone loved what they ordered.. my pasta was delish! Quiet since it was midweek during pandemic
The food was delicious. Even my kids cleared their plates. The salad with prosciutto and gorgonzola was fantastic. It is a great family restaurant with a more formal feeling than your average pizza/Italian restaurant.
Ambiance is really so nice, food delicious and everyone is friendly. Definitely will go again
Great restaurant all around! We had a great time visiting Sortino’s for a birthday dinner. The hospitality was excellent, our waitress was amazing, the food, drinks & dessert were all phenomenal & everyone left happy. It was probably the best family dinner we’ve ever had. Would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone & will definitely be coming back in the future!
Food and service marginal for the automatic 20% gratuity they tack on. So what does that mean? The server does not have to check in to see if you need anything. So if you get bad service they still make 20% regardless. Cost is pricey and marginally worth it.
Music was great... service was great. Food was OK. For an Italian restaurant you would think garlic bread was an option... it was not. Wait staff was amazing but food options were limited. Alfredo sauce was so heavy could only eat 1/4 of it, veal parmigiana was over breaded and pasta over cooked. It smelled amazing when we walked in, but were disappointed in the end.
Great food and service.. a bit pricey but good for taste and amount of food!!
Bad service, the food taste good except that my chicken parm was still pink inside and the chef argued it wasn’t. My plate was taken away and I was brought back the same piece of chicken that was probably put in the oven for a few minutes. The waitress said the kitchen was closed and they couldn’t make a new one. My husband finished his food and then the waitress realized we had asked for a refill on the water 30 minutes ago. They didn’t have big to go boxes so we had to put our kid’s left over pizza in little pastry containers. Not to mention the automatic added gratuity on the bill of 20%. If the service would have been good I don’t mind but the service was horrible and didn’t deserve $16 tip.
Good food and service. I would eat there again.
Food was great my family and I enjoyed every bit of our meals. But our waitress was not professional at all we sat there at the restaurant waiting to get refills and waited to be asked if anything was needed we did not have silverware we had to ask a different server to assist us several times. My wife and I looked around the restaurant to see if it was busy and it seemed to be dying off and we still had no idea when our waitress was coming to help us. When she did come to give my wife and I a refill she got our drinks wrong. It was just a poor experience with the waitress and for our first time going. We sent our kids to the room waiting to pay for our check cause it took that long again we had asked if we get assistance from someone else. They stated no so they went to get our waitress who did not at all deserve not one bit of that 20% gratuity. I’d rather have spilt that into the other help we received from the other two waitresses. I tip my hat off to the chefs the food was amazing. 1 out of 5 stars
Make reservations in advance for your best chance at a great table at a decent time.
Server was excellent. Waited 40 mins for our main entrees to come out. That was the only thing. Food was good
You get the value for your money. The menu is well balanced with options. The spaghetti and meetballs for kids is good. I tasted it and it was quite good. I had the lasagne and it was delicious, the servings were just right.
Service and food where great . Bartender inattentive
The staff was great from start to finish. I don't remember our waitress' name but she was wonderful. It was our daughter's birthday and we enjoyed everything very much. All the food we had was delicious!!
I absolutely loved the great Italian music being played ! And you get to take your wine to go!
Good food, small portions. Very nice ambience to enjoy with the family
Food was delicious and the service was great!!!!!!
The food was a little expensive for the portion sizes and the shrimp definitely didn’t taste fresh the meatball tasted like frozen meatballs you buy in a store and the pasta was way over done . Overall I’d give the food a 2.8 out of 5
Our party of 4 was seated early and greeted by the friendly staff. The food was really good, with the exception of the fresh mozzarella ... which in fairness, cannot compete with our places back home. Drinks were refreshed and courses were brought at the perfect times. One small issue with one meal which our server Alessandra corrected right away. We will visit again!
Food was awesome ..grab the caprese and mozzarella bread ..
Try the scampi also it’s the bomb diggity
The Seafood al Diavolo with spicy vodka sauce is the best thing on the menu. My husband loved the chicken parm and that’s his favorite meal of all time so he is a tough critic. They were out of the Sangiovese house wine and have sadly removed lobster tail pastries from the dessert menu (my favorite!) but it otherwise it was just as perfect and delicious as I remembered our first visit back in November. We honeymooned in Italy and lived in New York with great Italian and these are some of the best dishes we’ve had in our many years of searching for the best Italian food.
Overpriced food. Poor service. Food was cold and even though we had a reservation we still had to wait 20 mins to be seated. Food took forever to come out of the kitchen
Food was amazing! Service was a little slow though.
Overall experience was very good. Was very expensive for the type of food.
Poor service cold food. Ignored by wait staff and manager Camille.
When you make a reservation for 830, people expect to be seated at that time for service, not to sit outside in the hallway on the floor to be told it would be another 30 to 45 mins before seated. Why make a reservation? The food was excellent, however the prices are expensive. The service was horrible when we asked for extra things they were never brought to us the dishes we’re getting piled on the corner of the table just for them to sit there, which there was barely any room on our table to begin with. Then we were never asked if we needed more drinks is there anything more we needed, nothing. They put the food down and just wanted you out. Only to come to realize we figured out why our service was awful because they don’t work for there tips they already take 20 percent gratuity out of our bill, because if it was left up to us we wouldn’t of even tipped the waitress.
Horrible experience! Took over an hour for drinks and appetizers. They forgot half of them. Then another hour and half for dinner to be served. The waitress from didn't seem to concerned with the service and I figured out why when we received our bill... because they automatically get 20% tip. The food was cold once it was served. Terrible experience, food not so good. I give it zero stars.
Food was delicious and service was great. We celebrated a birthday and the team did a super job making it memorable.
The food was pretty good. Priced at what you would expect at a resort. However, being in a water park all day and moderately hungry, the portions we tiny. I mean we could have all eaten at least double of what was served. My 9 year old ate $40 in pasta- poor kid was starving! The 20%auto gratuity was ok but the service was just that- standard. I wish our server would have guided us through the meal, asked us to order apps or a salad (which is not included). For the price we were bummed we left hungry .
The food was very good. Took my family of 7 we had an amazing meal we will be coming back again. My kids range from 7 to 13 and everyone of them finished all the food on there plate without telling them too. Thank u for the great food and atmosphere.
