Sortino's Italian Kitchen is a new age red sauce restaurant where old school Italian cuisine meets the modern age. Sortino’s Italian Kitchen is a casual restaurant and bar that brings to the Poconos a tradition of hospitality established by Giorgio and Giacomo Sortino more than 60 years ago when they opened the original Sortino’s Little Italy restaurant in Sandusky, Ohio.

Adding a new chapter to a rich culinary history, Sortino’s celebrates the family recipes and generous spirit of its Sicilian immigrant founders. This is the kind of neighborhood Italian joint that could open on your street tomorrow and would feel like it’s been there forever.

The tone is established by the framed family photos at the entrance, and reaffirmed by the maître ‘d’s warm welcome. The aroma of simmering sauces and fresh-baked breads stimulates the appetite, while the sight of bountiful homemade Italian specialties racing from the kitchen to the table catches the eye.

Food very good, actually exceeded our expectations. Atmosphere in bar area very pleasant - less noisy than the main dining room. Service was very friendly. There were issues around the timing of the meal, with drinks taking a long time and entrees served while appetizer still being eaten. Other than that, no complaints. Didn’t expect it to be as good as it was!

We loved Sortino's! We were staying at the Kalahari Resort, so it was very convenient. The food was delicious, and our cocktails were great! The service was very good and we would definitely recommend it! We had the chicken Cesar salad, seared salmon, three cheese ravioli and chicken Milanese, as well as a kid's Mac & cheese. All were delicious! My only disappointment was the price of the wine. I wanted a glass of Savignon blanc with dinner, however the price was so high (and I do realize the standard mark up on wine in restaurants), that I refused to order it. I;m ok with paying $15-$20 a glass, depending on the wine, but $30?? The wine I was looking at costs $12 a bottle. I decided on a cocktail instead and it was perfect! Thank you for a great dinner!

The bread is amazing. Meat was cooked perfectly and was tender. They have different food choices you can’t find at other Italian restaurants.

Our waiter Demond was so nice!! We enjoyed our experience bc of him. The manage Kerry made us felt welcome. Btw food especially the bread was awesome

The staff was nice, the place was clean and pretty. The appetizer was good but the entrees were less than appetizing. Sad because I was really looking forward to the food.

We made a reservation and still had to wait over 20 minutes to be seated. While the server was great, we were told they were out of lemonade when we tried to order that for our kids. The food was good and the portions were large.
