Sortino's - Pocono Manor
Adding a new chapter to a rich culinary history, Sortino’s celebrates the family recipes and generous spirit of its Sicilian immigrant founders. This is the kind of neighborhood Italian joint that could open on your street tomorrow and would feel like it’s been there forever.
The tone is established by the framed family photos at the entrance, and reaffirmed by the maître ‘d’s warm welcome. The aroma of simmering sauces and fresh-baked breads stimulates the appetite, while the sight of bountiful homemade Italian specialties racing from the kitchen to the table catches the eye.

Excellent food !
Excellent food and service. Waitress was personable and accommodating
Birthday it was good
Our waitress was very good and other wait staff stopped by our table to remove dirty dishes and refill drinks. The ambience was very nice. Our teen-age grandchildren liked the special service and got a kick out of the location of the sink outside of the bathroom.
Portions were extremely small for the prices. Mediocre Italian food at best. The place was very empty due to covid times. Service was good and staff very friendly.
The food was bland and very heavily breaded. Everything tasted like it was reheated. Very disappointed
Celebrated my son's 10th birthday. I was pleasantly surprised at how it went since the restaurant is located in a waterpark resort/hotel. The atmosphere was great, the server was friendly as well as knowledgable, and the food was delicious. They also sang Happy Birthday to my son and served him with cannoli with a candle. I would definitely go back, and not just when I go to the waterpark resort/hotel.
Good pasta good starters sever was very nice got the kids whatever they wanted lemons cherries etc. Overall good place to try one night while at Kalahari.
Visited with three teens. Very happy with menu
Waitress was awesome!!!! Hands down the best. On top of everything.
It was delicious and our server was amazing.
We go to Sortinos everytime we visit Kalahari. The fresh pasta ravioli are incredible, my drinks were amazing and affordable.
The cannoli cart is our favorite!!
Great family atmosphere. Flavorful food that comes in huge portions. Very sanitary and practices social distance standards. Servers were friendly. Maitre' d frequently came by to see if we were ok.
everything on the menu looks so good. pasta and pizzas very good
The food was mediocre and way too expensive. My server was Kerri and she was great but I wouldn’t dine there again due to the food and price.
Had such a great time we’re going back on Tuesday!
We actually ended up eating somewhere else, bc the prices are outrageous here. 🙄
We were offered water but not any other beverages. My order was correct but my grandson got pizza instead of the entree he ordered. The manager came to the table and said any dessert was on them. The waiter knew it was my grand son's birthday. The little girl at the table next to us got her cannolis and everyone sang happy Birthday. The waiter brought his in a to go box and gave us our check. How disappointing!
4 adults and 2 teen boys for dinner. Food was good but parmigiana dishes a bit to bread covered. Mozzarella was excellent, stuffed mushrooms excellent and both fairly priced. Server was excellent, spaced out courses, checked to make sure all was correctly delivered and asked if anything else was needed. This restaurant is conducive to families and comfortable.
Food and experience definitely exceeded expectations. Parry of 10 and everyone really enjoyed their food. The fact that this quality food is located in a kids water park is great
Our waiter jaydean made the night even better playing with my kids and making them which makes a parent happy need more like him, please say thank you for the Long Island family by Bellmore
Hostess was rude. No eye contact and rubbed her face and hair before getting our menus. Ugh
We always go here when we stay at Kalahari. The food is always good. The family restroom wasn’t cleaned and I thought that was weird especially since we got there when they opened. They did surprise my son for his birthday and gave him a cannoli. He loved it.
Delicious fresh mozzarella! We loved the cannoli cart as well!
Fun atmosphere, delicious food, personable and pleasant employees. Will definitely eat here again!
The hosts (Don and another man whose name I can't recall) were VERY patient and accommodating for our group of 28 Girl Scouts/moms. Our waitress (Alicia) and waiter (whose name I cannot recall either) were excellent and patient with us as well, considering there was a very large number of kids . The food was great! We all had a wonderful time!
Gotta give it up to the cooks they were busting their tails off and the food was fantastic
We can’t here for our daughters bday. From the hostess to the servers, everyone was great. The food itself left something to be desired. I expect to pay a lot at a resort but the calamari was so salty, wings had no taste, my kids wouldn’t touch the meatball, clams were ok, caprese salad tomatoes were mostly green. Cannoli was great. Prices were normal and service was great so just improve food. Not better options though.
As a frequent Kalahari traveler I was SO excited to try this restaurant out. We typically visit double cut on our visits but this time we decided to give it a try. The food was horribly disappointing. My husband ordered the chicken parm and it was burnt and tasteless. I ordered the linguine with white clam sauce it was completely tasteless. After about 2 hours of eating I was extremely sick. I lost the entire last day of our trip stuck in our room getting sick. I will never return and not reccomend at all!
Had the Bolognese, my only comment would be a little more sauce on it & the pasta a little thinner rather than sooo wide.
Wait staff was awesome & friendly
This place was the best part of our stay. The entire resort was packed and too much to handle. Sortino's offered good food, good service and a place to escape the madness. The fried calamari, pizzas and seafood fradiavlo were all excellent.
I had a reservation and they put me in a side room after waiting 40 min for our table.
Great time, Ruth was wonderful and took extra care.
The food was good but not spectacular. The service was very good and the staff is very friendly.
Our waitress was awesome. So sweet and attentive!!!! Really cared!!!
A bit overpriced and food ok not great for the price!
Food was overpriced and flavorless only plus was that it came quickly.
As an Italian American first generation and coming from NY, I would avoid this restaurant indefinitely. The house red wine tasted like straight up vinegar and it had to be returned. The pizza crust was gummy and lacked flavor. The salad with Gorgonzola had no Visible Gorgonzola or flavor. The actual sauce and mozzarella on the pizza wasn’t bad and fried calamari although a touch chewy were pretty good. The bread they gave the table seemed like it was days old. This place wouldn’t survive a few weeks in New York City.
Large portions for each individual entree. Large choices in appetizers, prices are moderated, go with the pizza your way if you want less expensive. All good food, we left full with left overs to heat for lunch the next day.
Tok my wife and 3 kids for a birthday and food was very good and michael server/ bartender couldn’t have been nicer. Don’t listen to other reviews from people saying it’s expensive. They must be used to I hop or Applebee’s
