   The food was amazing and the people were super friendly! Friday night during lent for a catholic family on vacation usually means pizza but this night it included amazing shrimp scampi and mushroom tortellini! The kids loved their spaghetti and the asparagus and broccoli were cooked to perfection. Oh I forgot to mention the appetizers calamari and bruschetta was perfect!

   I usually don’t write negative reviews but so many things were off about this restaurant. How do they have such a high review? The server was good though he kept trying to sell everything under the sun to us. A whole bottle of wine for just me when I had my two young boys?? I know you have a job to do but servers need to use their judgement. Food-wise. The free bread was delicious but that was it. I ordered a Caesar salad with steak. The steak was not seasoned, tough, and tasted old. My kids’ dishes tasted like school cafeteria food. Very expensive for bad food but there are limited choices at this hotel. .

   Our food was delicious. Our waitress was nice. We were lucky enough to meet Mr. Sortino while we were there. He was very nice and made a point to come talk to us.

   Our server was very friendly and helpful. Service was slow. I don't think this was her fault. Probably just stretched too thin. The food was mediocre with high prices. The Alfredo sauce was runny. Marsala chicken was salty with a small piece of chicken and a large amount of pasta

   I got the seafood diavolo which was described as spicy tomato sauce loaded with clams, mussels and shrimp. What I got was mushy capellini, overcooked shrimp (4) , tiny tiny clams (3) and mussels (3). The sauce has absolutely no taste. And it wasn’t even a bit spicy. For some weird reason, there were chucks of mozzarella cheese on there. My son got the carbonara. It was swimming in a white sauce with overcooked pasta again. No pancetta in sight. Completely tasteless. The saving grace was the calamari appetizer which was actually quite good. The shrimp cocktail for $16 and 5 small shrimp was a ripoff. This place needs to learn to cook pasta al dente. And pasta should not be swimming in sauce.

   The food was quick, welll plated and delicious. The service was great, we had Gabriell(e)(a) (sorry sweetie I cannot remember your correct name but she went by Gabbi) for our server. She was very understanding that the little man was fussy and we had to go. Great vibes. We love eating here every visit.

    We were seated upon our arrival by a friendly hostess. The restaurant (including the restrooms) was clean and well maintained. We were quickly greeted by our server Lonell. He was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and very attentive to our family of four including 11 and 9 year old boys. The food came out on time, was hot, and everyone was happy with their meals. Menu prices were fair in relation to quality of our food and portion sizes. This was our third visit over the last few years and we'll definitely continue our patronage to this restaurant while visiting Kalahari!

    The food was excellent and very large portions. And the kid’s spaghetti with a meatball would be enough to feed an adult. Highly recommend eating here.

    Although our server Cortez was top notch the food feel short. First salad was brought out with the wrong dressing then the second salad was brought out with no dressing the a hair was found in it after finally getting to eat it. The meal portion was huge though.

    First time here. We were big fans of the 800 Club. Our meals were Delicious. Same great quality. Great to see George mingling with customers. Definitely will be back.

    My wife ordered a seafood linguine and it had no flavor and was watered down but the manager was so kind and offered to give my wife a different dish and they did do that for her which was very good on them to do that I just wish they would have comped her meal only but instead they still charged us for the replacement. Thought that was odd considering my wife did not like the dish she initially chose. I would still recommend people to go it was very nice and it was awesome to meet Mr. Sortino himself. He was a very pleasant and kind man. Would go back for sure to eat their even with the food problem we had.

    The food was amazing but the drinks stole the show for me!!!! Loved the drinks I tried!! Great service and atmosphere!! The owner even stopped by the tables to say hello!! The bread loaf was so good also.

    Good variety of dishes. Portions were large. Pasta was a little over done. Meat and cheese platter was excellent. The owner was walking around the whole time which was so cool. Expensive for Italian but better than I expected given that it is a busy Waterpark resort. Would go back for sure. Perfect dinner break from the pool.

    Definitely make a reservation! We did and I heard the hostess tell another patron that it would be an hour wait for a table. We were seated right away. Our server, Gabby, was delightful. She was efficient, friendly, and even remembered all of our names. The food was yummy and well portioned. We had pizza, salads, calamari, seafood pasta, the frank Sinatra beef entree, and a side of the delicious broccoli. I had a Negroni cocktail and it was well-built and delicious. A very satisfying meal and experience. A much better value that the other restaurants. Our booth was right on the edge of the restaurant so it was kind of loud and didn't feel like we were all the way in the restaurant, but other than that minor peeve it was lovely. Thanks Gabby!

    The food was amazing! Very tasty. Server was great, they were having an issue in the back having something to do with tickets printing, but it didn’t hinder anything, and I appreciated they let us know. Table side cannolis were fantastic.

    When deciding where to eat for dinner at Kalahari, look no further than Sortino’s Italian Kitchen. The five of us ordered a variety of dishes from the Chick-A Chick-A Boom to veal parm to steak and everything was delicious! We also ordered a bottle of their house Pinot Grigio, which was a good medium of the road white wine, and their wedding soup - which was definitely worth the $7 per cup. Our server, Amy, was friendly and helpful (and sold me on the bottle of wine to try.) We hope the next time we come to Kalahari this restaurant is still here, as it’s way better than B-Lux.

    Our server Alex was fantastic. Service was top notch. Steak medallions were cooked to the perfect temp but the calamari left something to be desired; it was chewy and the fish was approx. 60% tentacles which is usually not the case at most restaurants. Capellini pasta was ok butter garlic sauce was flat. Overall great service, mediocre food.

    Well I ordered chic a boom chicken it was supposed to have chicken and sausage the only problem was there wasn’t 1 piece of chicken. I even absorbed all the sauce with garlic bread and still No chicken. It was good but the name really fooled me

    The food was good, the service not so much. We had to ask for water and drinks several times because the waiter forgot them. It was New Year's eve and it was loud with noisemakers. The restaurant is open to the main entrance area where a lot of kids were blowing the noisemakers which were easily heard at dinner.
