Everything we tried was outstanding. Pizza, ragu, pasta, all outstanding.
We haven’t been to Sorriso in a while & definitely not since the pandemic began in March. We were warmly greeted & hand sanitizer along with your choice of disposable or virtual menus were available. We felt comfortable seated at a proper distance from other diners. Our waiter was welcoming & helpful with making food selections. The owner was helpful in a wine selection & very friendly as well. Our food was wonderful - the complimentary bread basket is wonderful & the meatball appetizer was so good! Hubby had the tomato & mozzarella salad (which I tasted!) & it was delicious. For my entree I had the Chicken Scarppariello & loved it! Hubby had the Colossal Chicken Parmesan & it was awesome. Our only complaint was other patrons not wearing masks as they moved about the restaurant. Otherwise an enjoyable evening.
We love Sorriso's. The staff is so friendly. The food is excellent. They also have more expensive wines by the glass. We will make this a weekly stop.
Fantastic food, good wine options, great service and location. What’s not to love about this place!
Everything was wonderful. Best Italian food we’ve had since moving out of the northeast!
Our new Italian place. It’s attached to the Westin on the Waterway. OMG.. Bellismo... Great wine- average $50-75 bottle of vine and Italian forward but have everything!! Octopus was perfect!!! My son had their meatball with spaghetti, my hubby had their short rib ragout with the pasta of the day and I have their delicious penne alla vodka!!! We finished with their cannoli!! Absolutely will be back. Scott was our waiter and led us through the menu. He did an amazing job!’ We will be back. They also have an upstairs club that does live music Friday and Saturday nights!! Definitely one to put on your list to try!
Loved it! So great — did 2 days in a row!
Had a great time! Food was outstanding! Really enjoyed ourselves.
Wonderful food and the
What a most delightful evening, in every way! We shall return.
Our starter ( Meatball) was actually quite good and the bread was delicious. Sadly the rest of the meal was quite bland flavor wise and my fish was way over cooked. Don't think we'll be eating here again.
Absolutely loveddd the food!!! We felt in Italy!!! Our waitress , blond hair super nice and kind! You can tell she is happy at work!!! Thanks Chef and staff for a great dinner!
First time here-Food and service was very good. Would definitely recommend.
First time visiting this place and We loved it! Delicious food, with the good taste of Italian ingredients, loved the ambiance and the staff were so friendly and kind! My kids loved the pasta (they are the thermometer)! Price is very convenient. Will definitely come back!
Hyped as a Northern Italian food restaurant. But many of the dishes are actually more Southern, such as the Arancini (Sicilian) , Pasta fra diavolo, the meat ball. The food is lovely but marketed as being from the wrong region of Italy
Simone our waiter was very friendly, professional and sensitive when to check on our table. We love the location and the ambience. The food is excellent!
My experience at Sorriso was as a single diner on a Sunday evening. The staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. The atmosphere is contemporary and pleasant. There were only four other tables seated in the restaurant along with a couple of parties seated at the bar. Perhaps it was due to COVID-19 precautions. Overall I was disappointed with the quality of the food. I started with a mixed salad, which was ample and fresh. However, it was so heavily dressed with a balsamic vinaigrette that the dressing coated every leaf of green and overpowered the salad. My main course was their "Spaghetti Amatriciana." The portion was fine - neither too small or large. However, the sauce was very watery and hardly any would cling to the pasta. It collected like a thin soup about 1/2 inch deep in the serving bowl. The recipe used also is not a truly authentic Amatriciana preparation. It included sliced garlic and thinly sliced pancetta rather than guanciale. This is a shame as they do list guanciale as part of their carbonara dish. I'm grateful for the service, and the bread was good, but would not return for the food from my first experience.
Consistently amazing food, wine, & service. We visit here about once every other month. Only thing is that it is VERY noisy. Not necessarily the patrons being unusually loud. I’m assuming it’s just the overall design of the restaurant. Voices just echo about. A bit bothersome. But, not enough to stop coming.
Deliciousness. Great for moms night out or date night.
As usual, our meal at Sorriso’s was super enjoyable.
We’re biased, because this is our favorite (Italian) restaurant. The food is first rate and imaginative. The service is second to none, and we love the the Coravin wine program, which allows us to get a glass of some of very best wine, without buying the bottle.
Try it, you won’t be sorry.
Waitress was great and helpful. She recommended spinach and bacon we loved it. ONLY complaint is menu said Ribeye and I was served a filet. But I have to say it was flavorful, tender, and cooked perfect medium rare.
Beautiful restaurant in a great location offering delicious food and excellent service.
This was second time there and I really enjoyed it again. Tables were spaced far apart. Food was excellent. Lots of wait staff.
Had a great evening celebrating my daughters birthday. Food was excellent and service was great. I like the atmosphere of the restaurant, you can dress casually or dressed up for an occasion.
Restaurant staff was kind and attentive.
Giorgio was a wonderful guide for our first time.
First time to Sorriso and it was awesome! The Paccheri Short Rib Ragù is absolutely fantastic.
First time at this restaurant. Service was unbelievably quick. We finished a shared appetizer and our meal was at our table. Portions are not Texas size but decent. Food was very good
Great food and wine!
Wonderful anniversary lunch
The restaurant was closed so we were left to try to find some place last minute for our anniversary dinner. Very disappointing situation.
We were seated on arrival. Our waiter was very friendly and informative.
He didn’t take a drink order straight away so when he did finally ask
It was about 15 minutes after arrival. After that the service was very good.
The wine we ordered, one we knew, wasn’t available so the sommelier recommended an alternative which we all enjoyed.
We all enjoyed the food we ordered. Very flavorful.
We will be back
This was our date night and everything from the ambiance, service and food were excellent. Comfortable atmosphere with couples and couples. My husband and I travel to Italy frequently and enjoy authentic Italian food and we both agreed everything about Sorriso was authentic Italian from our burrata and parma appetizer, seafood entrees and great dessert. Service was attentive. Great coffee. We will definitely visit again!
Loved this restaurant. This was our first visit, and we were glad that we made this choice. Friendly staff, knowledgeable, and the management staff made you feel like you were the only table.
Amazing service and the food was fantastic.
The food, the service, and the ambiance was great! Only issue we had was that they asked us to leave, so they could clean the table at about 11pm. This is the first time we've been asked to leave a restaurant, while still having drinks.
Thank you for your comments and we are very happy you enjoyed your time for dinner and drinks! Unfortunately and fortunately, we open back up at 6:30am for breakfast so an hour after the kitchen closes we try to clear out the restaurant to clean and ask people to join us upstairs for live music and the bar upstairs. Again, thank you for the comments and we look forward to serving you again. Zach Carpenter AGM
Food is excellent!
Wine list is on both extremes: list of wines by the bottle is excellent too, but the list of wines by the glass is surprisingly very limited and overly expensive.
Instructions regarding parking could be clearer. Make sure you notice that restaurant is part of Westin, and where to park, specially if you’re from out of town and unfamiliar with area.
Very good food, the service was great. The only thing that we found irritating was the noise. They could do something about the acoustic.
Thank you very much for your comments. We will take those into consideration and try to improve the ambient sound in the restaurant. Looking forward to serving you again, Zach Carpenter AGM
