    Sorriso, definitely makes you smile :-) The service is good and the food really good. The back spaghetti and the prosciutto wrapped branzino are awesome. Some improvements could be: (1) for a high-end place like this, take the effort and time to take away used forks and knifes, and replace them each course with new ones. (2) noise level is somewhat to high, add some noise cancelling decor (fabrics?) to ceiling and walls. (3) there is a big disparity between the appetizer sizes, some can be shared, some others are truly for one person, somewhat consistency would be preferred. I definitely go back.

    It was lovely, and our server John was outstanding. His recommendations were spot on, and it was a splendid Sunday evening before our concert at Cynthia Woods. A great place, and we will be back! For sure, get the Gnocci and short rib my husband got this, and I would get it next time it was just too heavy for me as I was not that hungry. I had the Campanelle and Burrata it was light and perfect. The Arancini di Riso was so good I could have eaten a dozen of them! The Fritto Misto was super fresh and had perfect breading.

    Our family had a fabulous experience with Sorriso. One can never be sure about hotel restaurants but we found the service and quality of food & beverages to be outstanding. We will definitely return the next time we stay in the area.

    Food was very good and the service was impeccable. Dining was much more casual than expected, so just go and enjoy. Our waiter was most helpful with deciding on what to order from wine to food, everything seems amazing. Mushroom tortellini was superb and my husband got the pork chop- wonderful. Peanut butter tart to end the meal! 5star

    I did not appreciate hearing the loud music from Como social club down into the restaurant. The conversation inside restaurant was loud enough…the combination of both places merged was too much. If one is looking for a quiet romantic dinner place, unfortunately this is not it.

    We could not carry a conversation with people at our table. The noise level was too loud and there was nothing to absorb the sound. You should have considered using the services of an interior designer that has experience in using materials that would help this circumstance. There are plenty out there.

    First time we visited and would definitely recommend. Great Not So Old Fashioned and Frotyo Misto. Italian entrees were super (Gnocci Short Rib and Lobster Pappardella). Most importantly, one of the few Italian restaurants in metro Houston offering Pistachio Gelato(yummy). Prices were definitely worth the value.

    Straight up Five Stars. We went in for an early dinner & were greeted by the most gracious host & waiter ever. John seated and served us. He offered us any seat in the restaurant and my wife was happy to choose a window seat. John was very attentive to make sure we had wine and food orders to our liking. My wife had lasagna. A modern take on the classic dish that was delicious. I had Lobster Pappardelle (lobster, spinach, cherry tomatoes, and saffron). One of the most unique and best tasting dishes I have ever had! Live music in the background that set a perfect mood. You've got to go here! Order the Lobster Pappardelle. ;)

    Best service I’ve had in years. Our server’s name is John. Food and drinks were good and reasonably priced. Ambiance could be great if you go on a night when there is not a live band on the waterway which drowns out the restaurant music, and our voices.

    Ok so I felt for the price of the Mother’s Day Buffett I wouldn’t say 65 dollars was worth it. It seem to have just basic food all carbs muffins biscuits and mashed potatoes the kids loved the pizza but for a family of 4 200 dollars is a bit much. Felt a little ripped off, but again maybe because it was Mother’s Day but still for the quality of the food which was mostly filling carbs not much to order from the menu as well.

    You make a reservation to have a dinner in a Italian restaurant and they seat you in a cafeteria table, it didn't fit our wine and appetizer on it. Server pulled next table to help. We were 2 people. No proper glasses for after meal digestive, and very noise place with server pushing chairs on the floor. Food was good but for sure killed with the discomfort of the place.. It is a hotel restaurant that is good for the hotel guests that don't want leave the property. I wouldn't go back

    We had a great time at our first visit at Sorrisa. The salmon was cooked perfectly and I highly recommend the pappardelle with lobster. The bruschetta was also delicious. Our waiter was very attentive and so was the staff. My only complaint was the single restroom for both men and women.

    It was our first visit. We were celebrating a 16th birthday with a group of friends. They were very accommodating with a separate table for the parents. Service was excellent- friendly, professional, prompt. We ordered a salad to share and they split it for us. Food was delicious- very flavorful. Alcoholic beverages are above average in price. Nice birthday dessert with a candle. Valet service was swarmed so we ended up parking across the street for free.

    Pros Good food! Nice staff. Cons OpenTable is misleading! Instructing customers to park in Westin parking garage! Had to show OpenTable email confirmation to both managers that parking was paid for! Gave them my ticket to validate parking. Sorriso no longer validates parking. OpenTable would not allow a reservation to be made for 5+ people! Sorriso has large enough tables to accommodate. Wait staff/server is new. Not knowledgeable with menu, ingredients, or cautious about food allergies. Had to advise the staff to clear empty dishes from table. Wished that the staff would show you the dry aged ribeye, prior to cooking. Like a bottle of wine. Bartender not knowledgeable. Vodka gimlet…was something else.
