Sorrento’s Restaurant in Maple Park is a steakhouse with a European Italian feel. Family owned for over 42 years, we’ve been welcoming guests to the finest in Italian and American Cuisine, happily meeting all of your needs. We drove 55 minutes to get there and it's worth every minute. If you are looking for an actual supper club experience, Sorrentos is it. From the feel of the restaurant to the garnish tray to the bread basket with 4 different kinds of spread offerings, or the fantastic Old Fashion cocktail, and the Prime Rib and the Shrimp dish were amazing -- and huge portions. Plus, a great kid's menu. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. The people dining in our area were all having fun. Just a great experience. We've already recommended it to a ton of our friends. There's no place around the Western or Southwestern suburbs that offer this kind of supper club experience. Can't say enough awesome things.

There was a lot of value for what you paid. You got Bread, plus a small tray of fresh veggies with dip. Soup AND salad and a side are included with your meal, so there was a lot of bang for your buck!

Outstanding place, great food and ambiance. It's an old fashioned Supper Club like you'd find in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. I can guarantee you wont be disappointed.

We had not been there in years and then our friends recommended we try it again. Atmosphere was just as we remembered. Service was great. We were a little disappointed because the Prime rib was tough, but the steak was good.

I love a good filet mignon. I have ordered them for years and this one was outstanding. Because of the low fat content of the filet,it can be a bit dry. Soreness serves the filet in a bed of sauted mushrooms as well as au jui. Delicious! I have also order their turkey dinner on Sundays! Outstanding and just like Mom used to cook. Hearty portions. They are serving on Thanksgiving. Why cook? I'm going to enjoy their holiday cooking.

We have been to Sorrentos a few times now. We enjoy the food. My favorite is the rib eye steak. It is always cooked perfectly (I like my medium rare). The service is always good too.

I had the Salmon and it was wonderful. I have had the Prime Rib before and that is very tasty also. The food came in a timely manner and was nice and warm. Our server was outstanding. We never had to look for her. Her timing was perfect. I highly recommend you make reservations as this restaurant was very busy. It was a little bit of a drive but so worth it.

Fantastic, traditional, supper-club setting with the good, old-fashion supper-club type service and food offerings. The owner/staff are very friendly and accomodating and make for a very pleasurable dining experience. Sorrento's is an 'institution' in the Sycamore dining scene.

Been looking for a great prime rib since Capones Hideaway closed. 45 min drive for us but when my sons Godparents said Sorrentino had great prime rib the wife and I said let's try it. I'm glad we did, we will return. Prime rib was tasty and done to perfection. Waitress was nice and made sure we had anything we wanted. She even gave us an extra bone for the dogs. They went wild over them. What more can you ask for?WE WILL RETURN!!!!

The staff was friendly. The food was bland - which is not easy when ordering steak! The bartender told us the restaurant is really more of a steakhouse. The steak was not juicy and char broiled - but almost tasted “reheated” - no flavor. The twice baked potato had no flavor and was dry. The shrimp had a lot of breading. The wine list was limited. Al in all not worth the miles to give it a second chance.

I selected Sorrento's for dinner with a couple friends. I'm a big fan of supper club dining and found this restaurant to be a good choice. Relish tray and pub cheese is always a good start followed by soup, salad and entree. The food would have earned four stars but there was an issue with one of three entrees. Carrot cake and coffee for dessert was good. Definitely worth a try!

Quite disappointed. Smaller relish tray, awful salad (which is usually always very nice) more dressing than lettuce, VERY small prime rib which is usually huge, not the same flavor and small baked potatoe. I will go back but only once. A friend had recently gone and said about the same. Don't know what has happened.

Took my husband for his birthday, prime rib was excellent. Waiter was extremely attentive but missed that fact that we were opening gifts and didn't offer dessert or recognize the birthday. Had a bit of a mishap with a soup but the waiter fixed the problem. will visit again!

We hadn't been to Sorrento's in years because of a bad experience. Friends had told me it was really good and I should try it again. They were absolutely right. The hostess was accommodating, the food was excellent and it was an overall very pleasant experience.

We were 1/2 early to our reservation. They sat us right away. Cocktails were good. They have very large shrimps. We got the appetizer as shrimp cocktail, I got the Vinnies filet Saturday special, and it was really good. My daughter got the mostaccoli and meatballs. I don't think they make their own red sauce. I have had better This is more of a meat and potato place, good steaks and a great value!!! They have great baked French onion soup!! Good for families and across the street is the Sycamore Raceway.. Good restaurant for dinner then hit the raceway. Very nice people working there!!

Sorento's is always consistant, I have been going there for years and only once did I have a complaint (a steak was a little grisly) and they took it off the bill immediately (I only ate a part of it and they gave me something else free of charge. Good service , friendly host and hostess.
