Everything was good but this time our food was exceptionally salty. To the point that I couldn’t finish my meal. It has never been like that in the past.
Very very good food, average server. Found that the manager was coming around more and was more helpful than our actual server.
We often go here with friends to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and any occasion to have a good meal. We are never disappointed and my husband looks forward to the mussel soup - he swears it is the best.
Overall a fine dining experience, albeit it was rather cold in the restaurant. Temperature should have been at least 4 degrees warmer.
I went here with my girlfriend for date night and we had a wonderful experience and will definitely be going back again the food was amazing and the staff was friendly and available when needed
Arrived at 5pm for a date night. We didn’t realize that most food items are 25% off until 6 pm. How great. We chose to sit in the bar area which was moderately busy. Our server was courteous and prompt. I think her name was Inu. We shared an order of mussels in white wine sauce. They were hot and tasty. We each ordered the linguini pescatore. Mine was with the spicy tomato sauce and my husband’s was with the white wine sauce. Both dishes were served hot and delicious. My only advice to elevate the plate would be to include more jumbo prawns and scallops in the dish, but with the 25% discount the meals were reasonably priced. We each had a highball, which were also offered at a discounted price, so the total bill came to $69, and I got to take home a container of leftovers. I would definitely come again, but I would always time my visit to take advantage of the 25% discount.
Outanding food and service. Always delicious and consistent. Thank you
Booked for a large party at last minute as our last reservation fell through. Private room was set up and everything was very nice. Restaurant itself was fairly noisy but it was quiet when the room was closed. Food was excellent.
Had the pescatore. Seafood was a bit scarce for the price. Sauce is amazing. Drinks were on the expensive end.
Never disappoints. Always great service and better food. Their veal dishes are amazing as well as their caesars!
Our server, Kelly was awesome. It was amazing to see how she was able to handle so many tables at once. And even had a minute to interact and be personal at each table. Food and service was above the excellent mark.
This my first time for mine and my friend’s birthday! So impressed!
Waiters were outstanding and very well informed and attentive!
The food was excellent for pasta and the steak my friend had. We both left leaving thinking why haven’t we been before? Clearly we were missing out! Can’t wait for the next time!👍
Birthday dinner for 2 great friends - everything was excellent, as usual.
Awesome food and service - accommodating as well - we’ve been here a few times and it’s always been the same
Food was amazing. Service was great and the free dessert was a nice treat.
Unfortunately our dinner arrived at the table with vegetables barely warm and the steaks were tough.
Staff were very accommodating taking the original plates back to the kitchen to reheat the vegetables. Then we discovered the steaks were tough. Staff offered to replace the steaks but we had other commitments and could not wait. The bill was adjusted but that's not the point.
I love the atmosphere at Sorrentino’s, it feels like I am in another city dinning at an elegant restaurant. The service has always been great and the food and drinks are always phenomenal.
Nice restaurant hiidden gem in Stony Plain. Can get expensive.
We had a wonderful time This was our first visit and was extremely pleased with the experience.
This is a neighborhood gem. It is situated in a strip mall in the small town of Stony Plain but the food is big city cuisine and the service was outstanding. We really enjoyed our meals and highly recommend Sorrentino's to anyone who is in the area.
Great dinner again. Appetizers to mains everything was perfect.
We were treated with the utmost care and the server made sure every need we had was met. The food was delicious ..
We were a group of four ladies who frequent Sorrentinos in Stony Plain, service was excellent, food is delicious, and appreciate the Wednesday evening bring your own wine as well as the other incentives offered on different evenings. We found the music loud and had difficulty hearing each other. However, did ask that it be turned down, which it was...
All in all appreciate having a restaurant of this calibre in our area.
First visit to the Stony Plain location - great experience. The only negative, it is a bit noisy in the restaurant .
The restaurant was great overall. May have been understaffed the night we went so service was a bit slow to begin with (had to wait about 5 min at the door alone before being seated even though there were lots of empty tables, had to flag someone down for water, appetizer arrived as our wine arrived).
The server was very sweet. The food was delicious and arrived piping hot and perfectly as we'd ordered (made a couple changes to our pasta). Overall a great experience and I would recommend this restaurant. We will certainly be back!
Perfection as always, beginning to end. Food delicious, service excellent!
Best Mothers Day Brunch Buffet EVER!!
We always love eating and drinking here. The food is delicious and they always have some kind of special drink available. The service and setting is wonderful. I would recommend to everyone. This was our first brunch and there was lots of options. We also love to go out for dinner here in the evenings.
Best Mediterranean Pasta EVER!!! Switched Penne for Angel Hair though!
Made a reservation which was for a large group. Service was moderate. Prices were moderate. Food was ok. Male food and beverage manager was a bit rough with his table side manners. We were checked up on towards the end of our meal by the owner which was a nice gesture. All in all just a moderate experience.
The Garlic festival was on and it is a must for garlic lovers (Garlic festival is over for this year). We visited on a Monday night and it was quiet. Service was attentive but not overbearing given the lack of customers. The starter we chose was garlic stuffed risotto balls. These were lightly breaded, delicious morsels (3) served with a garlic marinara and perfectly cooked. For a main I chose Garlic Risotto with cold smoked salmon and my spouse had a Linguine with chicken and of course, garlic. Again both were cooked perfectly. I would not have thought cold smoked salmon and a hot risotto, along with capers, would go together but I was very wrong. It was superb. The capers were not overabundant and lent a perfect tanginess to the salmon, which went very well with the risotto. My wife's linguine was done al dente, maybe just a shade more on the softer side, which is exactly how she enjoys her pasta. A very enjoyable patio meal!
My wife and I met friends for brunch and all of our meals were excellent. Service was great as well. We will be back.
Excellent service as always. Will be going back
We always go to Sorrentinos's for the garlic fest and once again it was great! The garlic infused appetizers and entrees were delicious. Service was friendly and attentive. We like the Wine Wednesdays where you can bring your own wine with no corkage fee. Would highly recommend Sorrentino's in Stony Plain!
New restaurant , wonderful atmosphere, visible authentic pizza oven, great food, nice sized portions, creative drinks and special, great service. I would highly recommend trying this place for any event or just for a night out.
Our evening was great from the beginning to end...our meals were large and full of seafood...wine and beer topped all off...we will be back
We had the kind of evening we were looking for. Enjoyed some appetizers (which we normally do not order) because we wanted to take our time and just enjoy the evening. The chef's (meat and cheese) plate is certainly generous, and tasty. We enjoyed a bottle fo their feature wine, which was modestly priced (and saved me $30 over what I was going to buy), and it was serviceable. Our mains (mushroom chicken risotto special, linguine piscatore) were served nice and hot. The mussels and clams in my pescatore were relatively small, and mushy; not up to the standard set in Spruce Grove. Dessert was tasty, but not outstanding, and for the price; small.
However, all-in-all, we enjoyed our evening and received excellent service.
Great food, good wine, excellent service from Angela and Glen
We had a big group (10 people) and the food and service were excellent. Everyone in the group was very pleased with their food. Thanks for the great experience.
