By far the best in town!
Always a great meal!
The food at Sorellina was delicious, as it always is. In addition, the experience is really special, as it always is. Everyone who works there is friendly and helpful, to the diners, and also to each other. It feels like being invited in to dine with a very kind, creative family who happen to make delicious food. And still the restaurant is an elegant, not noisy dining room, perfect for either a big celebration or an intimate evening.
Sorellina is our favorite BOSTON restaurant. Everything about it is perfect.
If you are making a reservation for two, ask not to be at the first table in the center of the aisle beyond the entrance. Waitstaff is constantly walking back and forth along with patrons, making it chilly and not very intimate.
Otherwise, the meal was delicious and the waiter was incredibly knowledgeable about wine listings. Mixed drinks were only okay, but we didn't order anything off the cocktail menu.
Great service and food! We will be back. Definitely a special occasion spot unless you can afford $300/meal on a regular night.
Superlative in every way! This was perhaps our best dining experience in Boston. The food and service were outstanding.
I wanted to make a trip to Boston to try Sorellina, after describing everything I read about the restaurant to my husband and another couple, we decided to book a hotel across the street.
The four of us went on Sat. evening, the 17th. I was hoping they would enjoy it since it was my choice.
Well, Sorellina certainly did not disappoint!
Warm greeting at the door, no wait.
Pasta dishes to die for, so unique.
The mushroom Malfadine one and the octopus over pasta were incredible!
Filet Mignon was great
Veal Chop, great!
Polenta, so cheesy and creamy
Very good rabe also.
We had coconut sorbet for dessert
Every thing was excellent!
Love the lighting and decor
The china was exquisite placed on white linens.
And the hostess called a car for us to return to our hotel.
Can’t wait to visit again.
Everything was incredible. Even though our table was close to others and the place was packed we felt very comfortable. I assume they have sound damping materials all over the ceilings and walls.
Service was outstanding
The only comment I have is the tables were too close to each other. It will be even more convenient if two random people seat with us and all of us would talk instead of listening the next table conversation.
Great place for a date. Food was amazing and service is outstanding
Amazing. Our dining experience reaffirmed this restaurant’s reputation as a Boston institution.
The cost is worth every bite but we prepared if you are on a budget like many of us .
My only recommendation would be the wait staff could lighten up , smile and be more personable unless sorellina expects that of them . Life should not be so serious .
Loved it! Such a lovely place
Fantastic meal from beginning to end. The beef carpaccio was the best I’ve had. Definitely spring for dessert too!
Absolutely fantastic, would recommend.
Server was excellent. Veal Milanese, gnocchi, and tuna tartare were standouts.
Server was terrible - we tried to cheer him up but at 5:30 he should have gone home. Miserable demeanor and not attentive.
Food we good but mostly not overly remarkable - with one exception - the pasta was excellent. I’m a low carb fan but appreciate exceptional pasta. We split the mushroom truffle Maffaletta pasta Half portion was not enough! I would go back for the pasta alone. Hopefully we draw a better waiter. Give Sorellina a try!
Mistrial and Sorellina are our favorites in Boston. The food and the ambiance are hard to beat.
Great food! From appetizer to desert, the foods were original dishes that are unique to Sorellina and were exceptionally delicious. The seating was also very inviting and comfortable with friendly and helpful staff. Overall, we had a great culinary experience and will definitely return.
