Sorellina Ratings and Reviews
The menu does not have much variety, the food is very expensive, in small quantity. We ordered broccoli and they gave us a sauteed, spicy leaf (which was not Broccoli and tasted bad). We questioned the waiter, and he said that it was Broccoli and despite noting our dissatisfaction, did not suggest asking for anything else. We ordered Scallops, which were one of the most expensive dishes on the menu, and they were extremely salty. Besides the dishes come with little amount of food, we did not eat the "Broccoli" and could not eat all the Scallops. I would never come back there, and would never recommend to someone. It's not worth the price you pay.
The food is excellent and this is one of our favorite restaurants in Boston. We try to go at least once a month and take the family. The highlights are the tuna, meatballs, gnochi and the truffle fries. They added gluten free pasta last year and this is probably the best gluten free penne I have had at any restaurant.
Walked into the restaurant and was greeted immediately. The dining area is gorgeous very contemporary design. The waitstaff was attentive without being overbearing when asked for suggestions was very quick to offer some good choices.
Food was delicious, arriving at a comfortable pace, not rushed. Would highly recommend.
We went for Christmas Eve dinner, had reservations and was seated promptly.
Excellent service from all staff members!
Dinner from drinks, wine, apps and dessert was wonderful!
We would recommend this restaurant to all my business and personal acquaintances!

Sorellina is a very well located restaurant with a very good selection of food on the menu and a great selection of wines on the wine list. At the arrival we got a very warm welcome from those who work at the reception and along came a smiling waitress who gave us a royal treatment throughout the time we spent there . The food, Filet mignon ( med) and a pasta course were exceptionally well cooked and we had a very good wine Chianti Classico red wine to drink with it. As we were there to celebrate a birthday of my wife, the kitchen made a wonderful desert for us with a lit up candle, it was just fine. We were at Sorellina on a very busy evening and the noise level was a little bit to high, but we felt although very well in good seats at a corner table.
Over all, a very good evening.
Friendly staff, attentive waiter but not overbearing let us relax have a drink, talk before taking our order. Food presentation was wonderful. Mouth watering assortment of appetizers to choose from and what we ordered were fresh and tasty. Nice variety of main course which should please anyone. I highly recommend Sorellina's .
Thursday was my fourth time eating at Sorellina over the past few years, and I was disappointed. We had a 6:30 reservation and were seated promptly, and our waiter came by very soon after to take our drink orders. We wanted to have a relaxing evening and weren't in a rush, but our waiter seemed to be in a hurry to turn our table. I had a salad to start, and my husband had the soup, neither were outstanding. I had the salmon, and my husband had the rib-eye which was fatty and not flavorful. We shared the tiramisu which was perfect. All in all, I would say that Sorellina left us feeling underwhelmed and we will be looking for a new dining experience when we are in Copley Square.
I was in Boston on business and Sorellina was highly recommended and it was truly a wonderful dining experience. The ambiance - cocktails - food - service were all exceptional and in summary "they make you feel special" in every aspect of the dining experience. I dine out often in all of the major cities and it rates near the top of my dining experiences.
Initially we were out off by the hostess but once we were seated the experience improved. The waiter, Mark, was great. Welcoming and informative and not at all pretentious, he put us at ease. Appetizers and dinner were very good, truffle fries are amazing, dessert was very tasty and coffee was excellent.
We were celebrating a special occasion and wanted to dine at a spot that would be memorable. Sorrelina was the perfect choice. From the moment you enter, you feel like you are in an upscale spot and most diners were very well dressed which added to the festive atmosphere. Given how high the ceilings are and the great size of the room, we were delighted that the acoustics were perfect for conversation. The food, though small in portion size, was delicious and our server was professional but friendly. We weren't rushed through dinner and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
My wife and I have been to Sorellina several times around our anniversary and are never disappointed. The food is excellent, the experience upscale, yet in recent years is less stuffy than in the past which we like (despite the formally dressed valets out front and hostesses inside.) Our most recent waiter was not pretentious at all and was very knowledgeable about the menu and accommodated my wife's allergies.
We are always amazed at how quickly appetizers and entrees are served. It may be due to our usually having early reservations and a party of two, but that doesn't seem to happen elsewhere. That said, we never feel like they want us to finish quickly and give up our table for the next guests.
This is the 2nd time eating here and Both times were excellent. The entire experience was well oiled and built to assist the guest. On this last dinning experience the Waiter was Friendly and VERY helpful. From the suggestions of Wine pairings to offering to retrieve my Valet Ticket from my cked jacket. Everything was well prepared and delicious.
