We were meeting friends in Boston and this was the restaurant that they suggested. We were extremely pleased with the food quality and the fantastic service. We did feel that it was very pricey which we did know and expect.
Extremely good service. Drinks and wines are excellent. Food is very good but needs to catch up to what it was before the pandemic which was flawless. I enjoyed my oysters and pasta dish. But they had not the normal pasta but a type that is a little different. Not in taste, which was very good, but in the way it looks in the plate. Not attractive enough!
Fantastic service, one of the best waiters I’ve ever had, and great food to boot
Great food and service.
well prepared dishes with excellent service. Portions are generous but pricy
Still our favorite restaurant in Boston! We were so lucky to have Mark as our waiter, what a doll!
The main server was mediocre and the back waiters carried the meal. My second glass of wine was ordered when our entrees arrived but didn’t arrive until we ordered dessert. He was spread very thin. Overall, the food was good not great and I’d say the same for the entrees but the atmosphere was terrific!
It’s was the first time in this restaurant and I hope to come again soon. The food is very good but the service is wonderful. I highly recommend.
We sat on the lovely terrace and enjoyed everything about our experience! Food was delicious, plates were beautiful, waiters attentive and helpful and we felt very comfortable sitting outdoors. A very special meal last night for our 49th anniversary!
Food was mediocre. Halibut had no taste and the corn was from a can. Veal chop not
Much better. Dessert amd gnocchi app
We went to Sorellina to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and it was everything I expected and more! The food, ambiance, and setting were just perfect! Our server was outstanding and when we passed on dessert, she still brought us a lovely little treat to celebrate our day!! It is just such a top-notch, never disappoints place. Absolutely LOVE IT!!
Amazing food and service you cannot top that restaurant in any way!
Reunion with high school mates
Loved it! Setting was very classy and romantic. Service was above average. Seating was a little close to other patrons, but not crowded, by any means. Food was outstanding. Prices are a little high, but not overly priced compared to similar upscale Italian restaurants.
I took my fiancé to Boston for an overnight. We went to the museum of fine arts and to sorallinas for dinner. Great service and outstanding food. I would highly recommend this place!
Sorellina is my favorite restaurant in the city. The food NEVER disappoints.
Sit at the bar if Gino or Jeremy are there. They are the best!
Service was impeccable and the food tasty. Oysters, grilled octopus, and carpaccio were excellent primi dishes. We had veal saltimbucca, veal Milanese, and mushroom and black truffle butter over pasta. Served hot! Portions were generous. Will certainly return!
Food and service was excellent! Our server, Melissa, was very attentive and also engaging conversation wise. We had the veal Milanese and salmon it was so delicious. As for dessert the tiramisu and warm chocolate cake was yummy!
This is the second time we dined at Sorellina Boston! And we were not disappointed. One of the best restaurant we dined at.
Such a great experience at Sorellina for a date — great ambience and lighting, super accommodating and friendly waitstaff, and the food was such excellent quality. I can think of absolutely no complaints.
We sat at the bar and had the most amazing experience, the crude was incredible, the pasta course with truffles was mouth watering, and our entrees, halibut and veal saltimbocca so wonderful our plates were clean. The service at the bar was superb, the food and wine knowledge of our servers beyond expectations. No wonder this is my favorite restaurant in Boston!
Service was excellent, the food was superb, definitely will go back
Always happy to be dining @ Sorellina, we have been dining here since their opening in 2006. Fantastic team led by GM, Dominick Minot, food, service, ambiance gets a 10. During 2020 Sorellina's take out service was THE Best in the city. Care that they took in presentation and packaging was fantastic.
Not short of amazing
Outstanding food. The Veal Milanese was the best I’ve ever tasted.
A memorable evening with excellent service and delicious entrees - our table had salmon and halibut. The pasta app was also delicious!
Excellent service, great ambiance, and fabulous food. Our server Mark was very professional and paid close attention to our needs. Highly recommend the patio. It was a little breezy due to the tunnel type seating area but oh so worth it. Try it, you won't regret it.
Best restaurant in Boston!!
Absolutely enjoyed our dinner last night. We had a cozy booth section. Meal was absolutely fantastic and tasty. We enjoyed: tuna tartare, eggplant rollitini, halibut and veal saltimbocca along with a wonderful bottle of sancere.
It’s all around a class act. Delicious cuisine, finely crafted cocktails, processional service. Great seafood, especially the tuna tartare and crudo. A must-order is the maccheroncelli pasta dish with the out of this world amazing Montepulciano sauce!
My sons steak was excellent but my salmon was just ok. It didn’t have much flavor.
Had a lovely business dinner with a couple of colleagues. The food was amazing and the service was outstanding.
Absolutely fantastic in all ways. Service, food, environment of the highest level, and delivered with warmth and friendliness - as if you visited a favorite cousin’s home!
Overall, we enjoyed our experience at the restaurant. Our appetizers and main courses were delicious, and the desserts were just average. Our only real complaint was a lack of service from our waitress. She only came back to check on us once after we started eating. My glass of wine had been empty for about 25 minutes, and I was not asked if I wanted another until right before dessert. I declined at that point, although I had originally planned on another glass or two. The restaurant is beautiful and we enjoyed the ambiance very much.
The food and service was excellent!
We had a great time. The service was excellent. The food was delicious and the prices for the main course were reasonable.
Good news... food was awesome (although $16 for the smallest Chocolate Lava Cake and $6 for the smallest Diet Coke were ridiculous).
We were concerned about social distancing (we have medical problems)... and requested a space with more room. We were replaced near the kitchen door... and near the waitstaff stand where 2 or 3 people stood the whole evening.
Overall, an OK evening, but a little price-gougey post-COVID.
We reserved bar seats. Amanda and the entire bar crew were welcoming and efficient. The lemon drop martini made by Amanda was SO good.
Our food, the lobster gnocchi and veal
Valdestona were excellent as was the molten chocolate cake.
We look forward to returning!!
This evening was absolutely perfect. From Thomas taking the absolute highest amount of care for us, to the general manager musing me with wine help. Perfect night that I only wish was everyday.
We ordered course by course, something that definitely signals normalcy in a fine dining spot. Our primi was the perfect size with it being their tuna and the burratta. My dad and I started with a glass of prosecco and my mom a sparkling pomm (that Thomas brought over once we sat).
Next course was pasta and chef sent us out an extra gnocchi. I picked out the Nero d'avala to takes us through this course.
Next was entrees and Dominic helped us widdle down four bottle choices to one. And it was a great pairing. The Anthill Farms Dolcetto which drank like a Pinot Noir but had the Italian earth to draw a line between our first bottle to the next.
Dessert we did the 15 yr barbancourt with chamomile tea and it was too good paired with the limone and tarimassu.
Chef Marga, I don't know if you were their last night, but your food delighted my parents and I. Thank you for everything.
Small portions, no sides, perfunctory service. Food good but whole experience felt overpriced and disappointing.
Perfect all around! Each dish was exceptional. Service was impeccable. Third time there- always consistent all around.
