The quality of food is good but the choices are limited. The waiter, Daniel, provided an excellent services as usual. Thank you.
Not good for large groups. Read description carefully. Pix misleading cause they are not part of Sora
If you are going there strictly for the view and ambience, I would recommend it but if you are going for quality and freshness, I definitely would not recommend it especially for the price they are charging.
great sushi !
Beautiful view of DTLA. Great for late night sushi date. 🍣
Janine our server is excellent. Top of her game, assisted us above and beyond. Overall all employees are very accommodating. Ms. Samadi the manager provided us a tour of the restaurants. This add value to want us to comeback again. Good job team Samadi. —-Solomon the is fantastic.
Try not to get seated at the end of the table. None of the sushi was making it to us, but when we spoke to the waiter, he had the chefs make assorted sushi plates just for us
Sora has pretty good sushi and the view is amazing. Service was good and drinks were as well.
Great accommodation with infant carseat. Great service,
Decent food , soothing view and ambience.
Wonderful view, great service and great sushi. I noted that it was my wife's birthday on the reservation and they gave us a desert dish for her with a candle, very special.
I had the unlimited sushi on Monday. I made a reservation so there was no wait. The sushi, rolls, mini appetizers and desserts were on the revolving belt. The sushi was fresh and tasty. To me the rice portion was too big with thin slice of sushi on top of it. The rolls were of good size. Hot tea and ice tea was included. The space between us was very tight. The view was magnificent. I guess people go there to enjoy the view more than the food.
I went to Celebrate my Wife Birthday everything was excellent
Views were amazing! Server was really nice but not attentive. Should be more clear about seating arrangements for endless sushi. We got a booth, but weren’t eligible for endless sushi unless we moved to the bar
Absolutely breathtaking view. The Miso soup was so unique that you flavor it to taste. The Edamame could be salted to taste using your own cup of sea salt. And the rolls were not only tasty, but nicely presented. Service was impeccable..
Janeen was amazing !!! Thank you so much for your service and making our celebration special .
It was an experience, but the quality of fish definitely did not make my drive worth it. It was a ton of fun overlooking Los Angeles and getting pictures of sushi on conveyor belts, but I wouldn't opt to go back.
It’s excellent, always excellent. Views are great, food is good. Just wish they were open later
Omakase experience was fantastic. Food was delicious and dishes were perfectly timed.
Most people go there for the view, and the sushi belt, the restaurant is very simple and nice. Our night was so good thanks to our server. She was so nice I can't remember her night but she is: blonde girl, little tall and cute. Thanks to her everything was so good I will like to go back again just to have her service... 10/10 A plus
Overall thought it was a nice experience can’t beat the view but the food could have been a little better hard to explain what I mean but I’ve had a lot better for the same price
Food was good. Service was amazing. Beautiful view of L.A.
Food and view was great
The view is terrific, the food fair. The sushi was very basic. Took a long time on the dishes to be put on the conveyor belt system. Lots of desserts not enough sushi at least at this seating. We were full, but not satisfied with the selection.
The endless sushi wasn't worth $30 there were very few choices in sushi options. The few that were offered were not good. Wouldn't go back and wouldn't reccomend it to anyone.
Great sushi very attentive service with an incredible view will definitely be back!
I highly recommend Sora to my friends. The quality of food and the services are excellent. Thank you Sora.
Everything was incredible and our server was very attentive and great. Only thing is that depending on your position, it may be difficult to get what you want because all of the good stuff may have already gone by the time it gets to you. The server made up for this however, being extremely accommodating to our requests.
The quality of the sashimi was decent. The menu selection is very limited and the sashimi slices were very thin. Our waiter was not attentive, and we were seated right next to the kitchen service door which made for a louder experience. The restaurant was not crowded, so I am unclear as to why this particular seat was offered when the other booths were empty.
The food is tasteless, very poor sushi. The view are of course what causes people to still show up
Great food with an even better view
Made reservations in advanced yet was still placed in front of the kitchen door where all the servers would come chat and have meetings.
Food was terrible!
The view is the only thing which was ruined by the the constant noise from the kitchen
The food was mediocre nothing stood out. The cocktails were good and the view was gorgeous.
Friendliest of staff and freshest of fish! Sora is a one of a kind place which I highly recommend to all!
A 69-floor Sora Sushi restaurant at the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown offers a great Omakase with very fresh fishes, elegant presentations and unique and different plating designed by Sous Chef Jessica personally on every dish. Frank Seridat supervises the Sora with his many years' culinary experience. I went to many Japanese Sushi restaurants, including downtown Los Angeles (DTLA) and never see a verify of plating for each dish. Sora is a good addition to the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown. Sitting at a booth with quiet atmosphere, you can have a spectacular view of Downtown Los Angeles (DTLA), while enjoying both dinner, view and conversation.
An all you can eat lunch buffet at $25 is no brainer.
Food and service was incredible
However watching kitchen staff in the open sneakily texting and eating with their hands while working was disgusting and disrespectful to my self and my guest
Exceptionally good server. Loved everything about the experience. Views are unbeatable - a modern, bright and quiet atmosphere.
Love coming here, but I wish there would be more of a diverse selection to choose from on the conveyor belt. The inari are great, but quality sometimes lacks on the cut rolls.
The price of sushi was way too expensive. Qualify was good but small portion. There is a sushi buffet that you can take from convention belt that keeps moving, but the selection was really limited, mostly inexpensive rolled sushi, no nigiri. Very expensive place. View was nice.
We arrived at 5.50 and left at 7.30. Our waiter only came to our table once and that was when we sat down. He never came back to see if we wanted drinks, water, something of the menu (NOTHING). There was only 8 people in the restaurant and four was his. Yet he stood and talked to the staff but couldn't come to a customer once. Beyond bad service, BEYOND.
