About Sor Tino
Following in the successful footsteps of the Ago's in Los Angeles, Miami, and Las Vegas owner/restaurateur Agostino Sciandri is back in Brentwood. He has "brought Italy to our doorsteps" with a menu offering traditional Florentine dishes. An open kitchen with a pizza oven, small and large distressed wood tables, rush chairs enhances the warm and friendly interior. Sciandri adds, “People don’t come here to look ….they come here to eat." Tino, as he is affectionately known, firmly believes that Los Angeles is destined to be this nation’s foremost restaurant city.

Sor Tino Ratings and Reviews
This is truly a neighborhood gem tucked away on Barrington off the main action of San Vicente. I spent a month in Italy this past summer, and I promise you that the food here is better than anything I ate in Italy, so my point is, it's delicious!!!!! We love the gnocchi in particular. It melts in your mouth!!
I have been here twice, and one of my favorite things is that it is authentic. My second favorite, is that it is a family run restaurant. Great for date later in the evening and your family earlier in the evening. I would recommend this place to my friends, as long as they don't mind $20-$30 entrees.
This service including the maître d’ we’re super. The food came hot, Tasty and was served in the appropriate amount of time. The server gave the three of us enough time to talk before pressuring us about our order. I would definitely return to the restaurant again with my friends
Sor Tino has been our “family gathering” restaurant for over 10 years and when we dine here, we feel like we are at home. The entire staff is warm and welcoming and everything on the menu is scrumptious. They have the best spinach ravioli with saffron sauce , bottarga spaghetti and truffle pizza in town. Don’t forget their incredible wine list!
Its a very casual, neighborhood kind of place. It’s good for families or couples. The patio is nice in good weather. The food is good Italian and our waiter was very pleasant. We really like the Amatriciana pasta. We enjoyed it overall but on the way out saw it is rated B! Ugh! They need to fix this fast or we can’t recommend it and won’t be back!
When we have visitors to the area, Sor Tino is our go to place. It is always excellent in both food and service and the location, close to the 405 makes it easy to meet up when people are coming from all directions. Our server was excellent, prices are fair, and the food is authentic and delicious. We will be back.
Every time I go to Sor Tino I have such a nice meal. Quiet, lovely, good service and really good food. Easy parking in the back and the patio is so nice if you want to eat outside. So much better than all the noisy, uncomfortable places around. The tables too are nicely spaced so you don't hear anyone else's conversation. A find.
Sor Tino is a really wonderful restaurant. The food is first class the outdoor patio is a beautiful place to enjoy a wonderful meal with excellent service and fine and fair priced wine list. The restaurant has a fair corkage but will waive the corkage if you order a bottle off the wine list. Very fair. It flys under the radar but is a wonderful place to dine
My wife and I have been to this restaurant many times and we have always been well taken care of. The food is very good and they have an excellent wine list. That being said, our server left a great deal to be desired. When I informed our server that we would like a bottle of wine within a certain price range he suggested several bottles beyond our desired price range. Furthermore, he was less than pleasant, almost with a scowl on his face and never once smiled. In the past we have had wonderful, gracious servers. We do not intend to allow this server to prevent us from returning.. However, we will make sure that he is not our server.t
Friendly, personable staff, and professional. Frequently came to the table. Excellent food. Pasta just the right firmness. Spinach cooked to perfection. Chocolate hazelnut tart exquisite. Not too sweet and could really taste the hazelnut. Excellent ambience.
It's not often that two middle aged LA women finish their dinner without leaving a crumb on their plate. Really outstanding dinner! I had the grilled calamari salad and it was the very best ever! If I lived nearby I would have it every week. My friend had the eggplant parmesan and she said it was fantatic
