Following in the successful footsteps of the Ago's in Los Angeles, Miami, and Las Vegas owner/restaurateur Agostino Sciandri is back in Brentwood. He has "brought Italy to our doorsteps" with a menu offering traditional Florentine dishes. An open kitchen with a pizza oven, small and large distressed wood tables, rush chairs enhances the warm and friendly interior. Sciandri adds, “People don’t come here to look ….they come here to eat." Tino, as he is affectionately known, firmly believes that Los Angeles is destined to be this nation’s foremost restaurant city.

When we arrived with our reservation there was a nice choice of tables, and the patio corner table we selected was very nice, and quiet so we could hear ourselves talk, which seems to be more and more difficult these days.

The service was excellent, and my grilled calamari salad, bronzini with spinach and fresh berries for dessert was perfect. Also, my favorite wine now that warm weather is finally appearing is Prosecco and the four of us knocked off two bottles of ths delightful sparkling wine.

I have been here several times, and for lunch as well. I prefer the patio as they do have heaters and it is quieter outside. I will definitely be back!

We usually love this restaurant and come with our family of 6 and sit a large table. When some friends wanted to get together I booked our reservation early for the patio for a party of 4. We were a little disappointed with the table. It was very small and tight. It seems that they have put more tables on the patio. Otherwise, it was a lovely evening!

Very comfy spot with very good food and service - I LOVE their calamari salad and would rank it the most perfect salad ever! Our waited John (Jon?) was great, super Tuscan wine rounded out a perfect meal!

This is a nice local Brentwood dining spot. Took our wine group there this outing. Everyone liked their meal. Dover Sole was excellent. Halibut a bit dry. Decent portions. Corkage semi reasonable at $25. Great service. Nice atmosphere. Wild Boar pasta was raved about. Sorry I missed it on menu.

Too noisy for us. We prefer quieter
The booth helped a little dampen the noise.

Great neighborhood place to have dinner when feeling to go out casually. Good food, lively atmosphere, always full it seems. Can get noisy but got a corner table which somewhat buffered the noise

This is truly a neighborhood gem tucked away on Barrington off the main action of San Vicente. I spent a month in Italy this past summer, and I promise you that the food here is better than anything I ate in Italy, so my point is, it's delicious!!!!! We love the gnocchi in particular. It melts in your mouth!!

Sor Tino is our "go to" for special occasions. We always feel welcomed there and the wait staff is both cordial and capable. The food is reliable, delicious, and served hot. We are often a large group and Sor Tino takes us in stride.

I have been here twice, and one of my favorite things is that it is authentic. My second favorite, is that it is a family run restaurant. Great for date later in the evening and your family earlier in the evening. I would recommend this place to my friends, as long as they don't mind $20-$30 entrees.

Always reliable with a very pleasant wait staff who are ready to accommodate
special requests. The patio is comfortably heated so outdoor dining is fine unless
rain of course. Also outside the noise level is low.

This service including the maître d’ we’re super. The food came hot, Tasty and was served in the appropriate amount of time. The server gave the three of us enough time to talk before pressuring us about our order. I would definitely return to the restaurant again with my friends

I love being able to always have a quiet, lovely table, attentive service, and delicious Italian dishes.. fish pastas salads etc -all good. People seem to go to enjoy a meal together, not people watch. It’s low key, but upscale vibe.

Sor Tino has been our “family gathering” restaurant for over 10 years and when we dine here, we feel like we are at home. The entire staff is warm and welcoming and everything on the menu is scrumptious. They have the best spinach ravioli with saffron sauce , bottarga spaghetti and truffle pizza in town. Don’t forget their incredible wine list!

Its a very casual, neighborhood kind of place. It’s good for families or couples. The patio is nice in good weather. The food is good Italian and our waiter was very pleasant. We really like the Amatriciana pasta. We enjoyed it overall but on the way out saw it is rated B! Ugh! They need to fix this fast or we can’t recommend it and won’t be back!

When we have visitors to the area, Sor Tino is our go to place. It is always excellent in both food and service and the location, close to the 405 makes it easy to meet up when people are coming from all directions. Our server was excellent, prices are fair, and the food is authentic and delicious. We will be back.

Every time I go to Sor Tino I have such a nice meal. Quiet, lovely, good service and really good food. Easy parking in the back and the patio is so nice if you want to eat outside. So much better than all the noisy, uncomfortable places around. The tables too are nicely spaced so you don't hear anyone else's conversation. A find.

Sor Tino is a really wonderful restaurant. The food is first class the outdoor patio is a beautiful place to enjoy a wonderful meal with excellent service and fine and fair priced wine list. The restaurant has a fair corkage but will waive the corkage if you order a bottle off the wine list. Very fair. It flys under the radar but is a wonderful place to dine
