Business meeting on VTday...
This is truly a neighborhood gem tucked away on Barrington off the main action of San Vicente. I spent a month in Italy this past summer, and I promise you that the food here is better than anything I ate in Italy, so my point is, it's delicious!!!!! We love the gnocchi in particular. It melts in your mouth!!
Sor Tino is our "go to" for special occasions. We always feel welcomed there and the wait staff is both cordial and capable. The food is reliable, delicious, and served hot. We are often a large group and Sor Tino takes us in stride.
I have been here twice, and one of my favorite things is that it is authentic. My second favorite, is that it is a family run restaurant. Great for date later in the evening and your family earlier in the evening. I would recommend this place to my friends, as long as they don't mind $20-$30 entrees.
Lovely, tasteful, quiet ambiance. Service very good, food is always good!!!
Always reliable with a very pleasant wait staff who are ready to accommodate
special requests. The patio is comfortably heated so outdoor dining is fine unless
rain of course. Also outside the noise level is low.
This service including the maître d’ we’re super. The food came hot, Tasty and was served in the appropriate amount of time. The server gave the three of us enough time to talk before pressuring us about our order. I would definitely return to the restaurant again with my friends
I love being able to always have a quiet, lovely table, attentive service, and delicious Italian dishes.. fish pastas salads etc -all good. People seem to go to enjoy a meal together, not people watch. It’s low key, but upscale vibe.
Sor Tino has been our “family gathering” restaurant for over 10 years and when we dine here, we feel like we are at home. The entire staff is warm and welcoming and everything on the menu is scrumptious. They have the best spinach ravioli with saffron sauce , bottarga spaghetti and truffle pizza in town. Don’t forget their incredible wine list!
Authentic ITALIANO! pasta, pizza & pesce!
Excellent Italian restaurant that felt very authentic
Wonderful! A rare gem of service with charm in an otherwise crowded and noises world. Old school and delicious!
Ambiance, service and food was delicious.... but expensive for what you get. $42.00 for grilled sole and spinach special; san garlic or olive oil..
Perfect table on the patio was ready when we arrived. Service was attentive and we all loved our entrees. Great evening. Plus, you can bring your dog!
Its a very casual, neighborhood kind of place. It’s good for families or couples. The patio is nice in good weather. The food is good Italian and our waiter was very pleasant. We really like the Amatriciana pasta. We enjoyed it overall but on the way out saw it is rated B! Ugh! They need to fix this fast or we can’t recommend it and won’t be back!
When we have visitors to the area, Sor Tino is our go to place. It is always excellent in both food and service and the location, close to the 405 makes it easy to meet up when people are coming from all directions. Our server was excellent, prices are fair, and the food is authentic and delicious. We will be back.
Always wanted to try this restaurant and glad we did.
Food was very good. Family type of crowd that appeared to be regulars in the Brentwood area.
Nice staff. Great neighborhood spot. We love Sor Tino!!!
Fantastic food and great service! This place always makes for a wonderful evening.
The food and the service are always top notch. The dining room is nothing special, we eat on the patio, which is nice. I wish they had a bar. Overall, our favorite neighborhood restaurant.
SorTino leaves me feeling transported to another time and place. Accommodating and friendly wait staff; wonderful fresh, authentic food. At this restaurant is exactly right. A perfect balance between hip and comfortable. A true neighborhood restaurant .
A. Dry enjoyable, delicious Birthday Lunch. Great place to take new & old friends. We are never disappointed!
Every time I go to Sor Tino I have such a nice meal. Quiet, lovely, good service and really good food. Easy parking in the back and the patio is so nice if you want to eat outside. So much better than all the noisy, uncomfortable places around. The tables too are nicely spaced so you don't hear anyone else's conversation. A find.
Sor Tino is a really wonderful restaurant. The food is first class the outdoor patio is a beautiful place to enjoy a wonderful meal with excellent service and fine and fair priced wine list. The restaurant has a fair corkage but will waive the corkage if you order a bottle off the wine list. Very fair. It flys under the radar but is a wonderful place to dine
Mediocre- stale bread. Shrimp was not fresh and overcooked. Sauce on pasta was tasteless.
Excellent in all ways. Highly recommend for food, patio dining, and service.
My wife and I have been to this restaurant many times and we have always been well taken care of. The food is very good and they have an excellent wine list. That being said, our server left a great deal to be desired. When I informed our server that we would like a bottle of wine within a certain price range he suggested several bottles beyond our desired price range. Furthermore, he was less than pleasant, almost with a scowl on his face and never once smiled. In the past we have had wonderful, gracious servers. We do not intend to allow this server to prevent us from returning.. However, we will make sure that he is not our server.t
We've eaten here before but tonight the food was wonderful, the servers attentive but not at all intrusive. Just a great, comfy place.
