Great staff. Great location. Exceptional food. Even our Italian guest can’t stop talking about it. Service was great with our server being very helpful and knowledgeable.

I don't know the name of our server but she was very nice and helpful and was attentive.

This was a first visit for our group of four. We found the service here great! The food was delicious, served quickly and mindfully. Our server took due care in allowing us space and time to talk while still checking in and ensuring we had water for the table. Definitely will be coming back!

i loved sopra sotto! i made a reservation for a large group for my birthday and we all loved the ambience and the food.

Tasty food. Many gluten-free options! An affordable Italian spot for delicious pizza/pasta.

Unfortunately Very noisy and crowded. It’s hard to carry on a conversation so dining experience was not as relaxed.

Went for Valentines Day dinner and had reservations for 8pm but we were already out and about and called to see if we could come in for 740-745pm. They were able to accommodate us earlier which was great! We ordered wine which was fantastic with a caeser salad to start. I got the gnocchi and my husband ordered the special which was their seafood pasta. My husband was happy with his entree but I didn’t enjoy the gnocchi- it was under seasoned and felt like something was missing. I wouldn’t order that dish again. Seating was pretty close to other tables but we didn’t mind that as the place was moderately noisy and you couldn’t hear other people’s conversations. Overall I would give the experience a 7/10.

Wanted to order a third plate of pasta for the two of us. The gluten free crust hands-down is the best I've had outside of Italy.

Really good, authentic pizza. But it does have the tendency to cool down very quickly due to the thickness of the crust. Could benefit from using heated pizza dishes. The pizza crust was also burnt in many places, giving it an unpleasant taste.

The drinks are absolutely amazing, the servers are nice and attentive, and their menu is full of solid choices so you can’t really go wrong.

The only thing that could make this better, in my opinion, is probably the noise level and the fact that it felt a little rushed (understandably because it’s a good restaurant that has inevitably caught on). Not great for catching up with a friend you can’t see much.

Wonderful place to catch up with friends. We had a nice large booth for our group and the staff were fantastic all night long. Food was delicious and cocktails were amazing.

Our group of 9 was given great service - including making room for the unexpected 9th guest! Great food and great value...we WILL be back...often!

Cute place. Good atmosphere and delicious good. Our waiter wasn’t the most attentive but other than that I would go back. Maybe try their happy hour!?

Restaurant wasn’t that busy when we first entered, which meant that service was very prompt. We ordered appetizers and they were brought out pretty quickly and before our main dishes. We all ordered pasta and it was all very delicious. All of the workers were very friendly and responsive!

Had the dine out menu on the first night it was offered and it was fantastic. Good attention to detail despite it being a busy night. Great experience.

Some of the best pizza I've ever had! Service was friendly and very fast. The chili oil, kindly reccomended by the waitress, went great with the pizza. Glasses were kept full and the pizza scissors were sharp!

We had a great time there and we will be back in the future. Food was excellent.

Service was a tad perfunctory. We just felt like our server showed up because it was in her job description not because she really cared.
Wine list is good. Pasta was outstanding. Pizza crust was very soggy in the centre and the toppings which were listed as 'spicy' were a bit bland. The antipasti platter of meat and cheese was ample and tasty as was the garlicky bread served with it.
The desserts were excellent.
Unfortunately we would have liked another glass of wine but by then the noise level in the tile and glass room had reached 'threshold of pain'

I would very much recommend this place, food and service was great. Prices on the higher side, but it is fine dining. Personally, I found it extremely loud and could barely hear my friend. It was also claustrophobic for me. We sat like sardines and the neighbours were just a bit too close.

It was not a quiet intimate dining experience. If would be much better if you were in a group of 4 or more. But I found that for just the two of us, it was simply not a relaxed atmosphere where we could loose ourselves in private conversation.

If I were to go back again, it would be in the off hours, after dinner or early dinner, but definitely not 7pm to 8pm.

We have been wanting to check out Sopra Sotto since the Summer and we were so glad we finally made it in because the food was absolutely Delicious! The Capricciosa Pizza was the best pizza I’ve had since my month in Italy! The Prosciutto & Ruculo Pizza was delicious too and for pastas we ordered the Sunday Sugo Tagliatelle and it was so good we ordered a second. The Tartufo pasta was really good and the two desserts we tried Pannacotta and Tiramisu were perfect too. So no complaints at all and our server was excellent too! I’m happy to say that everyone was beyond satisfied and we are all ready planning another visit!
The 9pm happy hour was really great too!

Quick and friendly service, frequently checked in to see if we needed anything. Food was okay, we ordered two pizzas and an appetizer. We noticed the appetizer board is better in the summer as it comes with figs which really ties it all together. It was lacking due to seasonal so it felt a little empty and plain. Our bill was hefty for what we ordered. Wasn’t too noisy as we went at 4:30 on a Sunday, but there was a good amount of people so a slight buzz which didn’t bother us any. We were sitting close to the window which was chilly.. The door was broken and wouldn’t automatically shut whenever someone would walk in/out. The staff or a customer would often have to get up and close the door as it would bring a chilling breeze into the restaurant. We’ll return again for date night but are more aware of the menu change and our choice of seating.
