So, you can’t cook like Nonna? We’ve got you covered. Like his ancestors, Chef Enrico feels that food should be simple and made “farmer style,” with fresh, seasonal ingredients. All of our menu items are prepared with care in the traditional Italian fashion. Sauces are simmered for hours allowing for a true immersion of flavours. Similarly, our pizza dough is prepared in advance and allowed two days to rise — this grants that the yeast will complete its full growth cycle, creating a lighter meal. As Italian cuisine is so diverse, seasonal changes will be made to our menu; be sure to keep an eye out for new items, as well as old favourites.

The food was good. The noise level by one party was so loud you could not even hear the person next to you speaking......asked two staff members to ask them to tone it down and the staff did not. The waitress hovered over us, brought antipasto and pizza almost at the same time so either the calamari would be cold or the pizza. The server kept hovering just to get us out of there which resulted in a stressful evening versus an enjoyable one.

Went to Sopra Sotto for our wedding annivesary! We've gone there (after COVID restrictions were lifted) so it was a bit of time since we've come back. We ordered the olives, Rucola Salad, Gnocchi in Sunday Sugo, the Caserecce e Tartufo, and the Tiramisu. All dishes were wonderful. The service was also very great, with the hostess greeting us in a timely manner and our drink/food order taken also promptly. The 'buzz' in the restaurant can be a bit on the louder side, but it just adds to atmosphere - excitement! We will definitely come back for another night out. Thank you for making our anniversary dinner so special!

Delicious food. The prosciutto pizza is a must. Fantastic espresso martini’s as well. The service is always good, wait staff are friendly and quick to grab anything you need. I’ve been to both locations multiple times and the food and service never disappoint. The location on commercial is much larger and has a nicer atmosphere but the burnaby location is nice and quiet, more intimate.

We were warmly welcomed by Allan. The three of us ordered the meatballs, a charcuterie board, bread, and olives to start. All we amazing - the sauce for the meatballs was delicious! We ordered three main pastas and all tasted individually different and bursting with flavour. To cap it off we each had a Tiramisu, which is the best I've had in my life. Allan took the perfect amount of time to allow us to enjoy the experience and eat and drink. It started to get busier, so the noise level was normal for the amount of people in the establishment. I will definitely be coming back, as everything was perfect.

The restaurant was SO loud. We had to yell to be heard. Couldn’t hear the person sitting directly across from you. You could see every person that walked through the door wincing at the noise level. We couldn’t hear the sever. It was awful. Made us want to eat and get out of there as fast as we could. I will not be returning to this location, I’ll Stick with the commercial drive location
