A glasshouse restaurant, where the weather is our wallpaper. We serve breakfast and dinner 7 days a week. We do lunch on weekdays and brunch at the weekend.




Our New York – Italian menu is simple and delicious. Meats, fish, vegetables, fruits, herbs and dairy delivered daily by local suppliers. The restaurant vibe changes from a laid back sunrise through a buzzing sunset. A view like no other in Dublin, cityscape to countryside. No fuss, no formality, book a table and enjoy.

    The food and drink were great. I sat on the rooftop so I didn't get to see the great view but it's still a fun atmosphere. Service was okay - the server though would walk away as I was mid-sentence (clearly not working for tips) but then asked for a tip as I was paying the bill. Overall seems like a nice place to bring a group of friends but I’d likely not return.

    We loved the service and the food one of the guys was a little rude. Mumbling and giving out when i asked him to bring out the cake but its okay. The food was not very tasty. Apart from that one man and the food i loved the atmosphere and the other staff. I would recommend purely because the waiters were so nice.

    Standard food and drinks, service was okay but they were very busy day before Paddys Day so can understand that. Brought my mother and aunty before I move away so was a nice treat for them!

    I waited 20mins after ordering to get my coffee, and it wasn't warm when I got it. Then another 45min for my breakfast and others who came in well after me had their food and drinks way before it did. - at one point got reminded that you needed the table back soon and I did say I'd just gotten my breakfast and i was told just to be "mindful of the time." I try to get the servicer's attention to ask if there was an issue, but it felt like they were avoiding eye contact with me. My food was cold when it got to me and so much so that I couldn't warm up the butter to spread it on my toast. I did try and say something as I left about my experience and not being very happy, but I couldn't find anyone. I'm sure it was just a bad day for some reason

    We go to Sophie’s every year on our birthdays for brunch and it’s always lovely. They took the steak egg and chip off the menu which is my go too! Would love love if you put it back Always amazing service why we come back each year

    Sophie's Rooftop bar was amazing, very quirky, the staff were friendly and efficient. The food was amazing! Myself and a friend had the caesar salad for lunch and it was incredible, also the cocktails are highly recommended. Overall a very good experience!

    Amazing diner at Sophie's. Wow effect from the Dean entrance to the table and the 360° view on Dublin. Great, generous and tasteful pizze with qualitative ingredients, wonderful original and elaborate cocktails, nice service despite a busy evening. Engraved into our memory for ever !!

    What a lovely place everything from the customer service to the food drink and venue was exceptional. I had to change our time of booking which was no problem at all. The cocktails were lovely and the food was so nice. We had a lovely waitress with blonde hair serve us (didn't get her name) she even came over to say goodbye to us at the end of her shift and wish us a lovely time in Dublin. We were celebrating 2 of us turning 40 this year. We got a lovely complimentary brownie arrive with a candle. Thank you for making our visit to Dublin feel even more worthwhile.
