Sorry to have to write a negative review but this place earned it. Dined with 4 others there on Sunday late afternoon before the 6:00 pm Kings/Edmonton game. Biggest negative was poor service. Seated at 4:45. Waited 15 minutes after being seated before orders were taken. Waited another 20 more minutes for drinks to arrive. Waited 15 more minutes for food to arrive. Three of the people in our party of 5 did not receive their food order because the server forgot to place it with the cooks!! Unbelievable! Had to wolf food down and rush out to make the game. food quality average at best, service terrible. not comped for restaurant’s mistake. Broken Spanish was great. This place is not. Go elsewhere.

Great place to have dinner before seeing Cirque du Soleil. It was a quick walk to the Microsoft theater. Come early and park in the lot in front of the restaurant. It’s much cheaper than theater parking.

Came here for the 3rd and final time. For something that’s so close to LA Live and been open for almost a year they really don’t have things sorted out or efficient. The food is way more expensive than other Mexican food in LA - that’s fine… this is LA Live. What really bothered me was twice, I’ve had a reservation and they’ve made me wait, and this time said “we can seat you if you sit outside,” like they weren’t going to honor my res. Then it took 45 minutes for 2 burritos because they were “busy” with some empty tables inside. And then had to flag down the waitress to place order and get check. $24 for a “California Burrito” after tax and tip. If you’re going to a game or show at Staples Center, it’s fine. But beware that you need to allow more time than you’d expect or you’ll miss the start of your event.

Location is a plus because it’s 1 block away from the super busy LA Live scene. Found street parking right away. Bathrooms don’t have diaper changing tables(ppl are going out more with their kids now; Something the establishment’s should look into). I went on a Saturday mid afternoon. Atmosphere was nice and the music was great(not to loud). The food was my biggest issue. A queso fundido with 3 small strips of al pastor shouldnt be 20 bucks; especially if it’s on a super small skillet with 3 small tortillas and regular Monterey Jack Cheese. The ribeye steak chunks on my Tierra y Mar burrito were tough. I would expect a better quality and more quantity for a 25 dollar burrito(no sides). The filet mignon strips on the tacos were so soft and like butter. That’s probably the only food item I would order again if I would to go back . The drinks on the other hand were pretty good. And what was a plus and made the outing a good experience was the busser (not the waiter, but the busser) his name is Austin. He should be bumped up to a waiter because he was so courteous and attentive. And he was really genuine with his approach. He checked in on us more than our actual waiter. Keep up the great work Austin!!!

Very disorganized and not well managed restaurant. It was very busy on a Saturday night but they had no hostess at the front stand. So tons of other confused people were standing around not being seated even with reservations. Busy servers were running past and I finally stopped one who did immediately help us and get us to a table 20 mins after our reservation. A guy who seemed like the manager was walking around but not addressing any of the issues. Also, I got a 2 veggie taco plate that had no flavor and was very small. Not a good value for the money. Our margs were pretty good though. And the place had cool art. The music was early 2000s pop and was mostly Christina Aguilera and Enrique Iglesias songs which got old fast. With a few changes this place has potential. Hope they figure it out.

We like this place before going to games at Crypto. The food is really good quality and served very nicely. Wish they would open a branch in WLA like the one DT not the self service one they have on Sawtell.

Service was slow. Tools forever fro cocktails to arrive. The dining area was pretty empty so not sure why the delay…maybe bar was busy? Food was bland. The chips, salsa and guacamole were very tasty though. The tortilla soup was very strong with chipotle seasoning. Not the greatest.

Great place for Mexican cuisine and delicious drinks! The food quality is great, and the drinks are authentic. They have a large selection of tequila and mezcal and the bartenders and servers are knowledgeable. It's a small indoor setting so it can feel a bit crammed if it's packed. Overall, highly recommend.
