A fun steak place!! You order the cut at a butcher shop. If you like medium rare, order it rare. Sides are shareable. Forget the fries. The mushrooms are delicious and the special house salad is wonderful. Lots of locals show up, so you know it’s good!!!

Good quality meat at great prices, we were on vacation so we decided to take our friends there. The only issue is we ordered our steak medium rare and it was barley cooked, when we sent it back to cook more it still was too rare, raw in the inside, I would order medium if you like medium rare. Our friend orders hers medium well and it was still pinch (more like medium). The baby grilled onions are great, so is the asparagus, Mac and cheese and baked potato, skip the electors , it is not like Mexican street corn. Sangria is delicious and the staff is very friendly,

It’s a unique experience you go up to the butcher counter and pick your steak and then then you go to the cashier and pick all your sides. Very informal. We like it.

This was our second visit and it was even better than our first. It is super fun to pick out your own cut of meat and the way they prepare it is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the portobellos to go with your steak. Fun atmosphere, friendly staff, and absolutely outstanding food.

Great selection of steaks, sold by grams/kilograms cut exactly as much as you want. Straks grilled to your specifications [rare, medium, med-well, well]. Seasonings a little salty, but tasty. Bring your own wine. Also, potatoes, corn, vegetables, pizza, burgers. Service friendly. Not elegant, but nice. Very reasonable prices.

We have heard great things about this place. Our steaks were undercooked and still cold in the middle. We asked to have them cooked to order and it was still not great. Medium rare for the record. The sides all came out long after the steaks. Maybe just a bad first experience.

Have been here before and wasn’t impressed but husband loved it so thought I would give it another whirl. They had rib eye this time and it was delish. Thankfully asked for it “medium” .... it was pretty raw. Never got my baked potato and turns out they never charged me so that’s on me I guess. It was very loud and crowded, very popular due to price point ... I’m assuming as I can’t see the reason for the Popularity personally.

Would not have gone had I relied on the uneven reviews here and on other sites. New friends highly recommended so decided to try. Have no regrets! Yes the experience is different from sitting at a table, reading a menu and letting someone organize everything for you. But if you don’t mind the harried (and sometimes crowded) process of selecting your cut of beef, then separately paying and ordering sides this place could be for you. Had the tomahawk and ribeye roll, ordered medium and both cooked to our liking. Mushrooms and grilled potato were delicious. Had also paid for a vegetable skewer which they forgot to bring, Brought when reminded and as we were getting ready to leave, but refunded when we asked. Wine selection by the bottle only (but byob okay with them), and only two bottles in offer. But our Casa Madero 3V was delicious. All in all a great evening. Would definitely return.

Somos clientes de sonora al sur de hecho fuimos dos veces la carne bien pero los tacos qie también son parte del rest malísimos ! Pedimos una torta de carne y el pan era refrigerado ! No nos quisieron cambiar la orden !

siempre hemos asistido a este restaurant y esta vez que fuimos poca atención del mesero en turno. y además mucha demora para que nos sirvieran la carne mas de 30 minutos, no había muchos comensales eran pocas mesas pero lo que estaba viendo que le dan mucha importancia a los pedidos para llevar.
inclusive cuando pedimos la carne nos estuvimos que esperar un buen rato ya que una muchacha empleada de mismo sonora le estaba dictando unas ordenes para llevar y uno que va a restaurant loi dejan para segundo termino

Worst restaurant we’ve been to in two weeks of dining out every night
You arrive and it’s cash only the exchange rate is 17 which is way below value. They do not indicate this in advance on their web site
It’s hot no air conditioning
You have to go to another room to choose your meat only to be told their out of filet and New York but do have rib eye that is 1/3 fat
They then give you a plastic box with your meat in it and you are on your own where to go next
Finally after wandering around the restaurant your sent to pay. We order potatoes and 2 mashed potatoes. No receipt is given
The meat comes and it is a mystery as to which is well done and which is rare. No mashed potatoes come
Steaks are very salty and thin cuts of meat
Reminds me of sizzlers

Ese día era mi cumpleaños, nos dieron una mesa enorme y solo éramos 2 adultos y un menor, mi carne la pedí termino medio, la tuvieron que hacer de nuevo, le pedí 4 veces hielo al mesero, y nunca me felicitaron por mi cumpleaños. Es mi restaurante favorito y esa vez dejaron mucho que desear en cuando a servicio...

El término de mi corte no estuvo como yo lo pedí.
Reserve con días de anticipación y me asignaron una mesa en la parte de afuera en donde daba el sol en lugar de adentro en el aire acondicionado como siempre.

Great casual dining experience. You can bring your own wine, no corkage charge.
Great variety of meats. Choose the size you want and the way you like it cooked.
Share a baked potato as they’re huge. Baked onion is great as well.

Many problems. We were a party of 8.
Steak for one couple was brought out long after everyone else was served, then had to be sent back as it was very under cooked. Order of potatoes was never served even after asking twice. Waiter could not be found had to keep asking other waiters for service.
This was at one time our favourite restaurant but the last two times has been a disappointment. Will give it one last try, if no improvement we will find an other restaurant for steak dinners.

Si vous désirez manger un excellent steak , vous êtes au bon endroit! Par contre, si vous désirez un petit souper romantique, ce n'est pas la place! On nous avons dit qu'il y avait beaucoup de bruit, nous avons pris une table sur la terrasse et le bruit était raisonnable. Nous avons apprécié la possibilité d'apporter notre vin et mon rib steak était excellent! J'ai suivi la recommandation d'amis de demander une cuisson moindre qu'habituellement et c'était une bonne idée aussi (je mange mon steak médium saignant et je l'ai demandé saignant, il était à mon goût). 380 pesos pour un souper pour 2 (1 filet mignon, 1 Rib, une salade césar et du riz), ça vaut absolument le prix et même plus!

No sé si por qué ya era tarde o por qué era domingo, pero los complementos no fueron de mi agrado los macarrones con queso estaban muy salados y en los frijoles salió una piedra, ( pequeña pero que al morderla es desagradable) al llegar mencionan que por el momento no aceptan pago con tarjeta, seria agradable que avisen cuando uno hace la reserva ya que no hay cajeros cerca. Honestamente no me agradó, quizás lo estoy calificando mal pero fue mi primera impresión, no descarto la posibilidad de volver por una segunda opinión

We’re big fans of Sonora Grill Prime so decided to try this one... no ribeye, no sirloin, most cuts had zero marbling and my wife’s steak was undercooked and terribly full of gristle. As owners of premium butcher shops we know our meat and this place was serving very low quality beef. Also agree that the container used for raw appeared to be the same as the cooked one. While cheaper than Sonora grill prime simply not worth the discount! Likely won’t return!

Food was great. I just wish they had told us they are no longer accepting credit cards, cash only. We rarely have that much cash with us,lucky we happened to the other night.
