Food and service were uninspiring. It's a nice rooftop space, but you can't really see much of a view because there are other tall buildings in the way. It's bright and open, and we were able to comfortably sit outside even though it was a rainy and cold night, because there are awnings and heat lamps. The drinks were fine, nothing memorable, but a little on the pricey side. Their wine selection was weak for a "wine garden." I asked the waiter if they had any Reisling, and he said "no" and walked away abruptly. I was thinking he might offer a suggestion or something, but I didn't even have the opportunity to ask.

A nice setting on the top floor of Santa Monica place with a great view and very good service. Unfortunately, one of the worst pizzas ever and the melon salad also way below average. Would not recommend it with so many other choices out there.

We had a lovely time at Sonoma Wine Garden. Everything was perfect. We will definitely be back and it will go our list of places to bring guests who come into town.

Sat right next to the window with a view! My mother and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Location is prime.
Service was a bit slow but it was Mother’s Day so I understand

I came here for Mother's Day brunch, and it was so lively with fun music and a dj later in the afternoon. I loved how you can sit outside, but it's covered with drapes and things to stay out of the direct sun. The food was yummy and their wine selection was great too. I'm definitely coming back!

Waitress was rude- we sat with sun shining in eyes so badly we were blinded by it- asked to move and it was like we were ones at fault. Waitress was unfriendly & looked like she hated her job- too bad- it was my friends birthday but the experience was less than adequate.

The service was great! The ambience is very good, it’s a place that makes you want to stay, have another drink and keep chatting. The food is tasty. My chicken didn’t cook all the way through, but it was promptly corrected. Nice place!

The brunch menu wasn’t all that great. Ahi salad tasted pretty fishy. I hate that everything is the same price. The restroom set up is a disaster.

The ambiance and environment is perfect for a beautiful LA afternoon. However, the food was sub-par and our server Kiki was neither professional nor accommodating.

Loud, unable to have a conversation, inflexible with brunch menu, not a lot of options for people who don't eat pork or beef. Asked for fried egg instead of poached and was told not possible. Yet my husband got fried eggs. Stupidity. Used to be a go to place but doubt we will be back.

The food is fairly standard: good, but not great. Where Sonoma shines is in their service. I changed my reservation at least a few times - including adding a member to our party at the last minute - and they were so accommodating and easy to work with, going above and beyond to make our meal special. I would come back for that alone.

We went to celebrate my birthday. We were there 2 hrs late due to the marathon going on traffic was terrible! As usual they still seated us and we had a great time. Our server Andrew was a great guy! And always attentive.

We loved this restaurant. Upon arrival and notification of our reservation, we were quickly seated on the rooftop in a corner table with an amazing view of the sunset. Our waiter was a handsome, friendly and attentive gentleman who made the dining experience phenomenal. Our food was delicious, our drinks were strong and well-blended, and the dessert our server recommended was amazing. Parking was easy to find, the location is perfect and great for our date night. We will definitely return. Highly recommended.

Food - decent
Ambiance - gorgeous minus the blaring music

I would recommend this to anyone who is ok with a club atmosphere dining. If you'd like to be able to have a conversation with the person you're dining with, consider going somewhere else

The atmosphere is so much fun. A very lively place to be for a wonderful day of sunshine, music, drinks, and friends. Bottomless mimosa drinks are all amazing! So many great flavors. DJ is a bit loud, however. So don’t expect a quiet food outing. Overall, love it and can’t wait to go back!

My overall review is very positive. The weather was perfect, the atmosphere at the restaurant was conducive to a relaxing experience in Southern CA, the staff were attentive, and the food was very good. The only negative criticism I have is that we were not, initially, offered patio seating upon our arrival. Our reservation was at 11:15am on a Saturday, and there was plenty of patio seating available at the time of our reservation. We were offered an inside table where NO customers were seated. Our request for patio seating was immediately accommodated and had a fantastic experience, overall.

A place was not available inside and the day was very cold. you have it reserved for other events and they should have notified you at the time of reservation. We were very cold and by the time the food arrived it cooled down immediately. One of the desserts we ordered arrived something completely different. there was no coffee .... for the price we really expected something much better

Sonoma Wine Garden will not seat you unless 80% of your party is there, even when the restaurant is basically empty. The bloody mary's taste like a cup of marinara sauce. The mimosas are pre-made and of course highly portioned with orange juice. One of the eggs in my Benedict was wrapped in a long, curly black hair! They would not comp the meal or discount it, they instead offered a gift card to the restaurant forcing us to return for another poor and over priced experience. Subbing is not allowed, for example one of the guests wanted fruit or a side salad instead of potatoes with breakfast and they explained subbing was not allowed even when she said she would pay an upcharge for it! I'm so sad how awful our experience!
