                                                                                                                                                  Absolutely exceptional! You are transported into Japan from the moment you walk in. Highly recommend requesting a sunken table or window seat. The staff are extremely polite, attentive and amazing. The food was perfection and I recommend everything on the zen course degustation. What a hidden gem in Brisbane.

                                                                                                                                                  Still the best Japanese style restaurant in Brisbane. The Brisbane dining scene is arguably maturing so it would not hurt for Sono to move to a more authentic and less westernised approach. The mark downs for ambience and noise is because our room was next to where the waiters scraped food scraps and piled used crockery!

                                                                                                                                                  First time out to a nice restaurant with our 18 mth old. The staff were very welcoming and provided great service. Our little one loved the baby cup and bowl provided. Great food as usual and very quick service. Great night out.

What we ordered wasn’t good value for money. Service was good though. More food would have been better. $300+ bill for 2 people and left still feeling hungry. Wouldn’t come back unless for special occasion and would try order different things.
