Love the location. Love the food.
If you want a gorgeous brunch view on Tampa's Riverwalk, visit Sono. We had great outdoor dining on the patio. The menu offers eclectic brunch offerings and classing brunch beverages. Just make sure to reserve a table because this place fills up fast.
Great spot for brunch or lunch when visiting the Tampa Art Museum or Riverwalk. Covered dining porch is pleasant location for watching the river and walk traffic. Even saw a few Dolphins.
This is more of a bar. We sat outside to eat and the tables were cheap metal/plastic. Our server seemed confused.
We were very pleased with the food though. Excellent, despite the casual atmosphere.
Food was sophisticated and scrumptious and the patrons around us seemed happy also.
Although it was too windy to sit outside, we had a great view of the University of Tampa Minarets from our indoor table. The grilled cheese with mushrooms and onions and the grilled cheese with chicken and avocado sandwiches were delicious as were the side salads. Even the iced tea was a cut above the usual. And service was top notch. Excellent choice for a relaxing and/or a quick lunch!
I loved the food it was delicious. Also, the scene was beautiful. The restaurant sits right out on the Hillsborough river. You can see the boats passing by and the children playing in the amazing park. Dinning inside and outside and the service was great.
The specialty grilled cheese sandwiches were excellent. Great attentive service.
Also the white bean dip, very tasty, and I don't like beans. The atmosphere is casual d the inside is almost sterile looking. I think that is so it doesn't detract from the museum. Would definitely return.
We ate here because we were visiting the museum and had heard good things about it. It was a huge disappointment. Despite having reservations, they did not have a table ready and were somewhat rude about it. Food took a LONG time. Set up is rather disorganized. Not a place I will return to.
My girlfriend and I came for Sunday brunch and had an all-around excellent experience! The food was spectacular and very reasonably priced. She had the cured salmon, which was a rather healthy portion of exceedingly fresh, succulent, perfectly chilled salmon, served with pickled red onions, capers, mascarpone, and a very good pumpernickel. I had the egg sandwich. The brioche was incredible, as was the ridiculously wonderful poblano aioli that graced it. The extensive list of expertly prepared caffés is reason enough to go to Sono, and the service was outstanding as well. If you're looking to relax in a peaceful setting and take it all in while enjoying some expertly crafted light fare, you positively must visit Sono.
Hardly a "brunch" place as advertised. Limited menu was expensive, as were the drinks.
Pack a picnic basket with a few bottles of wine and go straight to Curtis Hixon Park directly ... skip this place.
