    Good food, but the service was very slow. We had to go search for our waitress twice in order to get our drinks refilled and to get the check.

    We can always count on good food & service at Sng & Hearth. It is a family friendly as well as couple friendly place to eat. It is quiet & romantic, yet families might be sitting around the corner.

    We booked a reservation for 7 of us (4 on one check and 3 on another), well in advance because I assumed it was a popular place to eat. We arrived to a nearly empty dining room. The waitress was the best thing about our experience. She was courteous and attentive. We arrived on a Friday evening at 6 pm for a seafood buffet. With tax and tip our bill for 3 adults was over 141.00 (with a military discount). For that kind of money, it was a huge disappointment. The buffet was poorly stocked with many dishes empty. The selection was minimal and the quality of the food was not good. Then, to make matters worse, we spent 28.00 for 2 loaves of Cinnamon Bread at the lodge and it too was terrible. Nothing like the bread we got at Dollywood. The whole experience was just a huge let down and waste of money.

    We thought some of the food was decent. Our biggest problem was that they were out of a lot of the food and didn’t seem to be in a hurry to fill it up. I probably would not eat here again.

    Really wanted to love this restaurant as it is SO beautiful inside. But the food quality just wasn’t there. The best thing we ate was the pudding on the kids side. Unfortunately, the rest of the food was just okay. Service was okay, the waiter was friendly, but he told us he would bring biscuits to the table and never did.

    The dinner buffet was fantastic. My only complaint was with the lack of seasoning on most of the dishes. The brisket had almost no flavor all. The deserts were plentiful and the service was amazing. Would come back for sure.

    Good family fare. Kids have their own section. Good selection of appetizers and entrees. Carving section was appealing as well.
