Good food in a nice atmosphere
Really shocked at the Lack Of quality of the food. We were looking forward to dinner at The Dreammore Resort very disappointing! Food was not of good quality and was only barely warm at best! I read the reviews and over looked the warnings, I wish we would have listened! I would not recommend eating here. 25.00 per person plus tax and tip.
Fantastic- everyone was so kind!
Clean and we loved it!
Our waitress was excellent! Food was not good like at previous visits. The bread, salad, and fried chicken was good. Cabbage, sweet potatoes were cold and did not have a good taste. Disappointing for price.
Great food- just a little bit of wait at the service line. Think this is due to changes they had to make for social distancing.
Food was not very good. Some was cold, creamed spinach etc, prime rib was extremely tough. Not worth the price tag for sure.
I have been many times however this time the food was not hot and just not good however looked great.
Fun dining experience! Would definitely recommend a visit!!
We always look forward to breakfast here during our stay. While we miss the buffet experience.. the restaurant is doing a great job keeping customers safe during Covid. Still a nice assortment of food and service top notch. We did miss the build your own donut station.
Great food, price and wonderful service. Terrific selection for all dining taste and ages. Two thumbs up strongly recommend and will be visiting again!
Service was terrible, hostess was slow & would disappear for long periods of time between seating guests.
Loved that we didn’t have to leave the resort if we didn’t want to! Food was fresh and hot, service was wonderful! Will most certainly be back!
Delicious breakfast with a modified buffet! Family friendly and delicious!! We will be coming back.
I could not get the time I actually wanted, and when I got there I have no idea why. There was only one other family there. The buffet breakfast food was not warm. The place was so quiet that I felt uncomfortable making any noise at all. Background music would have been welcome. The server was wonderful. Very overpriced.
A buffet-type line, but they put the food on the plate. One plate, food piled on top of each other, waffle on top of scrambled eggs, potatoes.
Had to ask server for utensils, then a straw, then s&p..all tossed on the table. Close to rude, while, with tip, the bill for two was over $77.00.
The hostess was the only friendly one there.
We are not picky and easily pleased. Definitely NOT worth the expense.
Service was great but the food was cold. Social distancing was excellent. Kinda pricey, a thing you only do once.
Had high hopes but was very disappointed in food quality and offerings. Expect more from something associated with Dolly!
Vacation. Very nice
We arrived and were shown our table promptly. The waitress was there and took our cocktail order in a timely fashion. She later returned and served them. Drinks were delicious and priced well. I was impressed with how the restaurant handled the COVID situation. The only issue we had was that our server neglected to serve us the Stone Soup which was one of the reasons we were there
Very nice. A little bit on the pricey side, however convenient if you're a guest of the Dollywood Dreamore Hotel. Service was 5 stars and ambience was nice. I would surely go again on another trip/stay.
Nice selection. Plenty of food and excellent service
The food was like warm at best. Too expensive for a breakfast brunch with the selections provided. No desserts either. Adult drinks were really good! We would not go back.
The food was good the problem is they really cut back I understand because of the covid. The service was excellent very good server thank you so much. We have stayed and ate there two years ago it was just excellent but times have changed for this year hopefully next year things will be back on track we will try it again
Not up to standards expected at the So g and Hearth. With new serving style only have time to go thru line once unless you want to spend 20+ plus mins waiting in line again. Table was dirty when seated, in this Covid concern world please at least make sure table is clean prior to seating next group. There was trash and food on floor. Historically this has been one of our favorite restaurants but disappointingly was not up to the standards should be.
Get the fried chicken... And the brisquet ... And most anything really. It's all delish. The chocolate torte with ganache is too die for!! Had a great waitress also
Great atmosphere! Great food! Excellent service!
Food was cold!
We have eaten here since it opened, but doubt we'll be back. With the changes made paying 25.00 per person, you receive smaller portions and limited choices.
First time visiting Dollywood and wanted breakfast prior to going to the park - had Amy and she was amazing! Very friendly and helpful. The pre-cooked food was lukewarm, but the omelettes were outstanding. There was a great atmosphere.
Our waitstaff was wonderful. Miss Rachel was the nicest person. Food was very good but just lukewarm to cool. I understand that with Covid and keeping reservations down if food sits longer under lights it would dry out. But I like my food that should be hot at least warm Dessert was fantastic though and soup and bread very good also.
Not enough variety. Carrots hard
Food needed to be much warm. Only one person serving at buffet. Took forever for our party of 7
Everything about our stay could not have been better. We have visited the area several times in the past and this was actually the best!
The restaurant is beautiful and the servers were excellent.
Their friendly presence really made the dining experience.
The food was good. Typical breakfast fare with some southern/comfort food options.
Our server was excellent. So friendly and attentive!
We really enjoyed the stone soup, fried chicken, and the mashed potatoes.
The green beans were a little more "vinegar-y" tasting than expected.
The dessert was the highlight of the meal. We loved the banana pudding in a mason jar!!
You can also order Dolly's famous pink lemonade that is served in the hotel lobby.
Overall the food was very good.
A nice part of our Dream More weekend stay.
What a beautiful quiet venue, flavorful southern food shared with friends, it doesn't get any better than that, so blessed.
Save your money. Worst meal we have ever had. Not sure if it’s due to Covid but the meal was so bad it would be laughable if it hadn’t been so expensive. The meats were of the worst quality- absolutely awful and the sides were basically not edible. I did manage to choke down some Mac-n-cheese but that was it. We had read some reviews and decided to ignore the advice of others bc we had breakfast at the restaurant and it was delicious so we didn’t think dinner could possibly be that bad. We were wrong. The only good thing was the dessert- they were delicious but other than that there was nothing redeeming about this meal. On top of it all they were offering a 35%off for September but did not give it to you unless you asked- very underhanded. Save your money please. It ruined our stay at this nice hotel bc they are complicit as they must know how bad the food is and yet they continue to let ppl spend their money there. Embarrassing.
The dinner we had was probably one of the worst meals I have ever had anywhere. The only redeeming thing about the entire meal was the dessert which was delicious. All of the meats were very low quality and tasted mushy. It’s hard to mess up mashed potatoes And corn on the cob but they managed to accomplish it. The salad dressing was terrible and the soup was awful. We had read some bad reviews ahead of time but thought it couldn’t possibly be that bad because we had breakfast there and it was delicious. On top of the bad food they had a 35%off special while we were staying there that you did not get unless you asked for it- sneaky. Do yourself a favor and save the$100- Burger King is right across the street. We really enjoyed the hotel and this meal really was a disappointment and left a bad taste in our mouth (pun) about our entire stay. It’s embarrassing that the hotel would allow this kind of sub par experience with what they charge to stay there.
We thought the promotion 35% would be applied to bill - it wasn’t and I didn’t know until I read a review after our meal that you have to ask for the discount. Just information for anyone.
The other review I read mentioned soup - we did not have a soup option
Just ask questions -
We may have eaten a little later than some, 10am, which may explain why our food was not really hot and tasted a little leftoverish. The fried apples were really terrific!
