A must if you're in the area. Classic southern dishes executed perfectly and supported by the friendliest servers and staff!
We loved everything about this experience. From the atmosphere to the outstanding service to the delicious food. We will definitely be adding this to our must visit restaurants when we are in town.
Beautiful resort and dining room. Service was prompt and friendly. Food was fresh, hot and delicious. There was a variety that satisfied everyone.
Overall it was a beautiful place love the decor of DreamMore and restaurant. Food was pricey and flavor was ok. Nothing to write home about. I thought it would be more better tasting .
Food handlers did not wear gloves (including the manager). Cooks did not wear hair nets or beard nets. BBQ chicken was not cooked. Variety of motion was very basic. Manager had a sour look on his face and did not speak to guests. Not a good face for Dollywood.
The atmosphere was so enjoyable and there was wonderful food for the whole family. My kids even loved it! We've already made plans to come back next month.
Beautiful place!! Have never been to DreamMore before....we will be back!!❤
When we arrived our Server we asked what was Stone Cold Soup. She explained to us how it was made and how great it was. They didn't have any. Said it was being made ran out. We were there for over an hour and still no soup. How can you be out of soup at 6 pm for dinner. Totally unacceptable. Very disappointing.
Probably won't go back.
Feels like home in this restaurant. I felt like I was enjoying a Thanksgiving meal with my family. Food was delicious and fresh. Buffet was tidy. Service was excellent. Great selection of gluten free options.
The resort was so very elegant, well designed, and classy place! We will be back again and again. The hotel itself is so well designed. Loved all the seating inside and outside. The outside gardens, fire pits, pool and waterfall areas were amazingly beautiful, tranquil and gorgeous landscaping. We were so impressed, and we are very well traveled people having been to many 4 and 5 star resorts. Just amazing. The restaurant was the best buffet we’ve ever had overall. The southern food was delicious, amazing prime rib and greens. Loved it—we went there twice. Great value. The restaurant itself was so well designed. Plenty of space between tables, felt nice and private, not jammed in. Service was friendly and very accommodating. We enjoyed the pizza and coffee shop. Very much liked the double fireplaces inside and seating areas. Just truly enjoyed ourselves. Just again a “classy,” “well designed and elegant place. We will be back.
Misty was an excellent server for our 5th anniversary trip! She's attentive friendly and lively. The food is down home southern style with some uniquely flavored versions of classic foods. Delicious! If Misty isn't available, ask for Katherine, she's the best also!
Had dinner and breakfast there. Dinner was good....breakfast was not. Breakfast foods were all cold and waitress had to heat our food in a microwave. Heard several other people complaining to management that day.
Delicious buffet with many choices ranging from meats to vegetables to everything in between. The food tasted fresh and was presented in a clean area. We especially loved the collard greens and of course the dessert selections. Dreams are made of that warm apple crisp, yum!
Food is delicious but very pricy for kids when 10+ are considered adult prices
This restaurant is beautiful. The food was ok. The buffet was not well stocked with the meats. Two hours before closing, and the kitchen manager refused to put out a fresh Berry Cobbler when asked. The one that was out had been dug through and with the heat under it, the crust had dried out so she just stirred it up. Also we had to remind the waitress twice to bring our coffee. I'm not so sure we will be back.
This was our third visit, and it had declined greatly.
Great food, great service, beautiful restaurant, a tad pricey but completely worth it in my opinion.
As a resort, the DreamMore is wonderful. But this restaurant is pricey. Having to pay the adult price for 11 and 12 year olds is too much.
Great ambience! For some reason they had issues keeping the buffet stocked even though it was 6:00 pm and they were less than half full. Also, several of the items were barely even warm. All of the items that were available and at the correct temperature were very good. This is a little pricey and a very poor value if they don’t keep the food stocked and at the correct temperature.
We stayed at the resort from Sat-Tues and booked the restaurant for a Monday night (my wife's birthday). That evening, both the resort and restaurant were slow and, since the meal is buffet, a lot of the food wasn't turning over (meaning sitting in pans for a longer period of time). The service was terrific and our waitress was wonderful, but the meal was nothing special. The fish was so so and the veggies were definitely suffering from being in their trays for too long. Being able to create a fancy donut for dessert was fun, but even the donut was nothing special. Finally, I was hoping for a birthday wish for my wife, but it never happened (though I had mentioned it in the reservation). Overall, the meal was fair, service terrific, and value ok.
Not the best time we visited. Service was poor and good quality has been better. We will give it another shot when we visit again next year. Our sixth visit to the resort, and we’ve always been pleased other times. Hoping it was a fluke.
Dinner at Song & Hearth was a great ending to a great day! The food was delicious!
Quality of the food was excellent. Server was very pleasant.
This is not the first time at the DW buffet, but it is by far our worst experience. The prime rib was delicious, but outside of that we were very disappointed with this visit. Food displays and utensils were not kept clean and bordered on disgusting. Tried several different side dishes - sweet potatoes, corn pudding, collards, and others, but the only ones edible were the salad and baked potato. I am a southerner and love southern foods, so that is not what turned me off of the sides, they just tasted bad. The desserts were few and far between, picked over, and not replenished. The apple pie looked like someone dumped it in the pan and gave it a big stir, didn't even resemble a pie. If you are paying $25+pp to eat dinner at a buffet you would certainly expect better quality of food and cleanliness.
Our server would disappear for long periods of time leaving us waiting for drinks, the bill, etc.
Atmosphere and the prime rib are the only things that made this visit 2 stars overall.
We always plan one evening meal to go to the buffet. The menus are online so you know what will be served. The best mashed potatoes every time!! The prime rib was great. All the veggies & meat dishes were delicious! The service was friendly and very accommodating. Plus the resort is gorgeous- just like Dolly.
We’ve eaten at Song and Hearth several times. We did not enjoy our meal this visit. Most of the food was salty. Our Son in law’s BBQ whiskey beef tips were dry and salty. The roast beef and Mac and cheese were great. So was the service. Just wasn’t worth the price.
Decent food, bit pricey.
Not a fan of small children in restaurant like this. Wonder if the parents would get the hint if asked to leave...
Our server, Tammy was fantastic and very attentive! We simply love this restaurant for any meals throughout the day!
Food was delicious, however the waitress neglected to take away used dishes between courses. Also when reminded that we had requested a birthday cupcake when making our reservation, she knew nothing about it. We went to the hostess who said they did not do that anymore. But then she said we have some in the freezer I guess we can get one out. She brought out a beautiful platter with Happy Birthday on it written in chocolate and a cupcake with no candle.
The perfect dining experience. Took guests from out of state and could not have been more proud to share this experience with them.
Food was wonderful, waitress was very good. Enjoyed the buffet. The fried chicken was great and we loved all the desserts that you could choose from.
Our server was excellent. We were treated so well. The food was not what we expected. The brisket was dry and some of the side dishes were either bland or over spiced. I believe that the green beans were ghost pepper flavored. The fresh salad was the best part of the meal. It was delicious. The desserts were plentiful but somewhat flavorless. I've had the breakfast buffet at Song and Hearth and it was five star all the way. I will end with this. We dined at 5:00 p.m. when the restaurant opened and food at its freshest. This made no difference.
It was our 40th anniversary we were treated like royalty by the waitress named Tammy. Food was great too.
The experience was very nice. The salad bar and potato bar were really nice. Main dishes were delicious. Fried Chicken was the best I have ever had. Loved the Salmon, ham, cranberries, collards and sweet potato's the best. They were my favorite.
The desserts we tried were okay but not fantastic.
Would definitely recommend.
I was so excited for this buffet. I was disappointed by the limited selection, and that most of the food looked better than it tasted. The mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese were great. The prime rib was so rare it was hardly even cooked and not edible. I really liked the atmosphere, but would have enjoyed it even more of the food was a bit better. There was a pretty large dessert selection, the dessert was the best part.
Was just a great meal.
Amazing buffet! Looked beautiful and tasted great!
Delicious! And lots of options for our family! The fried chicken is a must!!
Best dinner we had on our Trip to the Smokies! We went on Beale Street night and the Brisket melted in our mouths! Excellent service. Quiet atmosphere. A gem!!
We had a reservations for 2 and when we arrived they only had a table for six I took my wife for dinner for her birthday It was awkward sitting at a table for six plus it was very noisy Kids were running all over the place
