Unfortunately due to poor service I cannot recommend this restaurant. Furthermore the food was fine but a bit overpriced.

Not a crowded Saturday night (730pm) but starting from the drink order, the service was terrible. Waitress brought one drink but mentioned they were out of cucumbers and mint (2 of the ingredients published on the menu). At the same time told me my beer selection was not available (basic Hefeweizen). So we waited another 5 minutes for my 2nd selection.

Ordered the side (brussel sprouts and bacon) and entree, a paddy burger (also on the menu). Side comes out in decent time but then we’re told there’s no paddy burger. Gave them another alternate burger order. A solid 25 minutes passes and still no burger. No offer to refill the empty drinks. Waitress MIA.

I asked hostess to speak to a manager. A few minutes later our waitress comes by to 1. Apologize for the burger and fries not there and 2. To tell us the manager was comping our meal. Note he had not even visited our table as i had requested from the hostess. Instead he just tells the waitress to comp us.

Happily we accepted the comp and left after politely suggesting to the waitress that her management makes sure the staff is well informed about items not available, and to be more cognizant of long wait times for a burger and fries....

We’ve loved this place since it opened. We’ve brought many friends and family here & plan to again many times!

Slow, non-attentive service. They also were out of a lot of things on the menu.

The food and drinks were good but they sat us in a back corner where our waitress apparently forgot about us. We didn’t have service for at least 10 minutes. At the end of our meal we were going to order another round of drinks but our waitress didn’t come back for 45 minutes from the time we finished our food. Very disappointing.

Everything was great. Only downfall was some food wasnt available on the menu. ordering of food wasnt placed correctly so some menu items werent available. They did comp some apps for the trouble. Remaining food and drink and service wa great. The updates they made to the venue are great! Comfotable for a pub scene but nice enough for a family meal.

The waiter was wonderful and very attentive but I was not impressed with the food at all (had to send back the short-rib sliders (missing a few ingredients that were mentioned on the menu), crab cake sandwich was too salty and not enough crab meat and everything else was just OK. The waitress was the only thing that saved me from giving this less stars.

The food was horrible. My fries were cold and soggy and my boyfriend's steak was raw, even after he sent it back. I also ordered a salmon BLT that was lacking the bacon and tomato and the lettuce was limp and dry. The waitress comped the steak but we would have preferr d to just have edible food.

Average meal with average service. Crab cakes were good. I think if we were going just for drinks it would have been fine...fun pub atmosphere.

Sona Pub & Kitchen was a mediocre dining experience. However, I want to note that the service was excellent. Our waitress was on top of everything throughout the night, and the kitchen was fast. The beer list had a lot of good options. However, the food was VERY mediocre. The nachos were dry with little flavor. The short-rib sliders were also dry and the flavor was pretty bland. My fiance got a shrimp po'boy with very few shrimp despite the sandwich being $15. Overall, the atmosphere was vibrant and fun. I may come back to sit at the bar for a few drinks, but I won't be eating here again.

This was the first time we ate at Sona (my husband and I). The atmosphere was great - they did a nice job redecorating. We had drinks and dinner. I had the salmon BLT which was good and my husband ordered the mahi tacos. They brought him the wrong tacos (pork tacos) twice in a row and when the server (not our server) brought them out wrong twice she laughed and said "Oh I just saw tacos and grabbed them." So that was disappointing. Will try again.

We had a wonderful first visit. The Sausage rolls are super fun and delicious! The short rib and mac and cheese is delicious as are the pizzas. The pomegranate margarita was perfection! It was a really fun menu, beer list, and atmosphere. I will go back soon!

I was slightly disappointed by this restaurant. I ordered wine and the wine glass they gave me had someone's lipstick on it. The waitress was kind and gave me a new glass and new wine.

It's was OK. Good beer list, short-ish menu, friendly staff. Food wasn't anything to write home about but their Sunday brunch might be worth checking out.

I really tried to like this restaurant but so much was awful. First, they had a cleaner smell pumping through the vents. We even moved seats because our table was wobbly and the smell was so bad, but it still smelled in another area of the restaurant. It was SO strong that I couldn't enjoy any of the food... not that the food was that great. It was mediocre at best. What a disappointment!

First of all, the decor is gorgeous! Really friendly staff, fabulous beer list... and the food is tremendous. Don't miss the Brussels sprouts with pork belly, fish and chips, chicken curry, burgers, poutine, beet salad. I went twice in a week and can't wait to go back.

Great new spot on Main street in Manayunk. Sona has a nice selection on the menu. My favorites: brussel sprouts app, beet salad and the Sona burger. The service was quick and the waitress was friendly. I absolutely love the decor.

We were seated across from a staircase to an upstairs dining area and were subjected to a constant cold wind throughout dinner. The table was too narrow to comfortably fit four chairs. My beer was skunky but the waitress never reappeared until after we got our meals, so I went a stretch of about 30 minutes around no drink.

We ordered an appetizer and four entrees, one of them from the kids menu. The appetizer was served at the same time as our entrees, despite it only being a meat and cheese plate requiring no cooking. We sent it back because we didn't want our meals to get cold as we ate meat and cheese. My medium burger was well done and for some reason my son's burger from the kids menu was the same size as my adult burger.

The restaurant itself is nice and the food was good but from an overall service experience, it was pretty poor. I'm not a complainer at all and had never went a plate of food back in my life.

Buffalo chicken dip was warm in some places, cold in others. Seared tuna appeared grey, not seared. Mains were mediocre. Staff was friendly but untrained. Skip this one.
