Unfortunately due to poor service I cannot recommend this restaurant. Furthermore the food was fine but a bit overpriced.

Not a crowded Saturday night (730pm) but starting from the drink order, the service was terrible. Waitress brought one drink but mentioned they were out of cucumbers and mint (2 of the ingredients published on the menu). At the same time told me my beer selection was not available (basic Hefeweizen). So we waited another 5 minutes for my 2nd selection. Ordered the side (brussel sprouts and bacon) and entree, a paddy burger (also on the menu). Side comes out in decent time but then we’re told there’s no paddy burger. Gave them another alternate burger order. A solid 25 minutes passes and still no burger. No offer to refill the empty drinks. Waitress MIA. I asked hostess to speak to a manager. A few minutes later our waitress comes by to 1. Apologize for the burger and fries not there and 2. To tell us the manager was comping our meal. Note he had not even visited our table as i had requested from the hostess. Instead he just tells the waitress to comp us. Happily we accepted the comp and left after politely suggesting to the waitress that her management makes sure the staff is well informed about items not available, and to be more cognizant of long wait times for a burger and fries....

The food and drinks were good but they sat us in a back corner where our waitress apparently forgot about us. We didn’t have service for at least 10 minutes. At the end of our meal we were going to order another round of drinks but our waitress didn’t come back for 45 minutes from the time we finished our food. Very disappointing.

Everything was great. Only downfall was some food wasnt available on the menu. ordering of food wasnt placed correctly so some menu items werent available. They did comp some apps for the trouble. Remaining food and drink and service wa great. The updates they made to the venue are great! Comfotable for a pub scene but nice enough for a family meal.

The waiter was wonderful and very attentive but I was not impressed with the food at all (had to send back the short-rib sliders (missing a few ingredients that were mentioned on the menu), crab cake sandwich was too salty and not enough crab meat and everything else was just OK. The waitress was the only thing that saved me from giving this less stars.

The food was horrible. My fries were cold and soggy and my boyfriend's steak was raw, even after he sent it back. I also ordered a salmon BLT that was lacking the bacon and tomato and the lettuce was limp and dry. The waitress comped the steak but we would have preferr d to just have edible food.

Average meal with average service. Crab cakes were good. I think if we were going just for drinks it would have been fine...fun pub atmosphere.

Sona Pub & Kitchen was a mediocre dining experience. However, I want to note that the service was excellent. Our waitress was on top of everything throughout the night, and the kitchen was fast. The beer list had a lot of good options. However, the food was VERY mediocre. The nachos were dry with little flavor. The short-rib sliders were also dry and the flavor was pretty bland. My fiance got a shrimp po'boy with very few shrimp despite the sandwich being $15. Overall, the atmosphere was vibrant and fun. I may come back to sit at the bar for a few drinks, but I won't be eating here again.
