Excellent overall. Great selection of seafood options. Attentive service with clear but unobtrusive oversight by the owner who checked in on every table. In particular appreciate that the chef decided not to send out a couple dishes that did not meet his standards. Our server informed us and gave the affected members of our party something to eat while dishes were being remade. Replacements came out quickly and were perfect. Very nice touch you might not get elsewhere. Great value for good fresh seafood, we'll definitely be back.

Besides the soups, everything else we've tried has a lot to be desired... Not worth it.

Good choice for reasonably priced seafood. Service was excellent. Looking forward to going back and trying additional menu items.

We live in the neighborhood and have enjoyed Antica Pizzeria since they opened five years ago, which is in the same shopping complex. So we finally took the time to try out Something Fishy and support another local restaurant getting started. The restaurant itself is space, very clean, and quite inviting. We had made reservations on OpenTable and it didn't prove necessary as there weren't many people there for an early dinner. Now the service - not so good. With only three tables and take out, it wasn't busy but with the wide open view of the kitchen, our waiter spent most of his time texting on his phone back there. He didn't exactly ignore anyone and our food came out hot, but it was just a really bad look for a restaurant server even when business is slow. The food was good. The menu reminds me of Tibby's down the street but much smaller, no local seafood (which seemed strange), and without a bar. I had barramundi and grits and the fish was moist and the garlic cheese grits quite tasty. My wife got the fish and chips and while its not British fried batter it was a peppered cracker crumb and a generous portion of thick filets. The end of the meal is probably why we won't be going back. When the waiter came back for the check, he had a mobile card reader for me to sign. Rather than leaving it for me to attend to, he had it preset for a 20% tip and stood and watched me. Not wanting to be a jerk and our bill was under $30, I signed off on it but that was just wrong to do that to a patron. I found out we were never booked in through OpenTable, so no bonus points either. How you don't manage to record the only reservation in an hour (we were the only people who came in during our time there) but you have enough time to text in the kitchen? You don't honor an OpenTable reservation completely and you pressure me for pennies in a tip you would have received anyways, I don't come back. PS - the OpenTable points were added after I complained on Yelp.

Dear Tom, I am sorry you had a poor experience. I am glad you notified us about the server issue which will be addressed . Regarding the auto tip The server should have pointed out the option to change as you see fit and we will retrain on this feature. Regarding your points, that is not in our control so I am glad you received them. I did not see your review on yelp because we do not use yelp.

The Altamonte Springs location recently opened up. There is definitely an improvement in service. Now there is more staff and service is quick and courteous. The food is very fresh and very tasty. Portions are large as well.

My husband and I tried the fried fish that comes with really good sliced fries, the salmon tacos, the ahi tuna tacos and a side of grits. Portions are large and food is very tasty and seasoned wonderfully.
