Loved the atmosphere. Live music was great and was the perfect volume. We didn’t get seated until 45 minutes after our reservation time. We waited by the bar, but the bartenders were so busy we had to wait 30 minutes to place an order with them. Our server was nice, but she disappeared before our entrees and did not come back. Really wanted to like the restaurant more, but the service and wait time made for a press enjoyable experience.

I went for my birthday as part of a three restaurant dinner series and started the first night with Somerville, and it was amazing! All of my guests enjoyed the food, I had the striped bass, which was so light and so tasty, we loved the ambience, the music was amazing and the food was wonderful. It was a beautiful way to spend my birthday, and our service was truly top-notch. I look forward to coming back again and trying more on the menu.

We had reservations for 7:30 but didn’t get seated until close to 8:00. Our entire party was complete. We were celebrating a birthday and was not in a hurry. I feel it’s reasonable to wait up to 15 minutes for reservation. I think I got 3 reminders about my reservation time so the respect for the reservation time isn’t mutual. While waiting for the table at the bar, the bartenders were busy but they didn’t even look up and acknowledge that I was waiting and didn’t say “I’ll be right with you “ We ordered coffee to go along with our dessert. They ran out of coffee! How does a restaurant run out of coffee? The ambience and food is great. Steak was well prepared. Truffle fries were amazing. It’s pricey so it’s fine for a special occasion.

They really need a mocktail menu. Live music was EXCELLENT. Dessert menu could be better. But service, ambience, decor and the live music were 10/10 also parking attendant in the back was 10/10

Delicious food and loved the band but it is a bit loud. Maybe remove the microphones from the instruments because at some points I couldn’t hear the people next to me.

Somerville was exactly what I expected and more then I expected. The restaurant is beautiful from the outside to the inside. The drink menu is complete with something for everyone’s palate. They also have a fully stocked bar. The menu was also very thorough, and being a vegetarian I was really pleased with the huge selection. We had the chicken sliders with caviar- 10/10 no need to add extra caviar. The Mac n cheese 8.5/10. And this is only a personal preference on the type of cheese used-it was giving grilled cheese. The broccolini-10/10 very flavorful and enough for both of us to share. And finally the collard greens lasagna 10/10. So flavorful and filling. Definitely try it and then go again.

This restaurant was absolutely splendid. We went on Father’s Day and it was not crowded easy to make a reservation to our surprise. The music was was perfect in the band played so softly as to not disrupt private conversations at the table, you were still able to hear each other speak and so forth it was a really incredible experience! Now the food again ..The food!!! was ABSOLUTELY exceptional, especially the caviar chicken sliders.. the main course I had the pork loin which was to die for a very, very, very tender, and my husband had beef. I can’t remember whether there was tip or whatever but he woofed it.! The staff was so incredibly helpful and pleasant! We will definitely be going back very soon especially to celebrate special occasions. It’s the perfect spot.!

My review is not a direct reflection of the restaurant itself. We happened to attend after a power outrage, were seated, ordered drinks, and then learned we could not eat bc kitchen was closed. We had 915 reservation so arrived hungry and needed to quickly determine another place to dine. I will return and revise my review considering different circumstances.
