Taylor was an attentive waiter. The food was good but didn’t “wow” me. Decor was nice but lacked ambience. It was not super busy. It is not in the busiest part of the city.

Today was the first time my wife and I had dinner at Soluna, although we frequently have been there for breakfast and brunch. As always, we were not disappointed!! We started with the street corn and chips which was delicious -- the corn was grilled perfectly, the flavor was great and the chips were not too salty (as they are in many places). We each had the pollo (chicken) tacos and shared a side of those scrumptious spicy potatoes. The shredded chicken was so good and the blend of fresh seasonings on those homemade soft tacos caused me to eat beyond my feeling full. Todo estuvo delicioso!!!!

Fun, youthful vibe from the moment you step up into the dining area. Server was very attentive! The stars of the evening were the cocktails. Unique flavor profiles and not too alcohol forward. The food menu is somewhat limited so go in with expectations of a light meal - tortas (sandwiches) and chips with salsa or street corn. We over estimated based on seeing a steak with chimmichuri sauce advertised on the website. Espresso machine is closed in the evenings, but the espresso cocktail is still on tap! Recommend for a cocktail or two and a snack, not so much for ‘dinner’.

Didn’t love the Christmas in July. Went for espresso martini and server told me it was Christmas drinks only. Then saw them making espresso martinis. Steak was very fatty. It wasn’t terrible, just ok. Expected more :-(

It was a great experience the food was everything that lettuce wrap shrimp taco was heaven the steak was great & had a lot of flavor & u gotta get the potatoes and street corn & the drink of the night for me was them margaritas (passion) & let’s mention our server Oliver she was great very attentive I would definitely go back & I highly recommend it to y’all

We made reservations for a Friday night. We were quickly waited on and brought drink menus. Server suggested appetizers. We ordered a salsa and chips and shrimp ceviche. Both were very good. I had the house margarita which was exactly how a margarita should be made, tequila, lime, salt, and no sugary mix. Entrees we had a mix of shrimp lettuce wraps and carnitas and chicken dishes. The street corn side and potatoes were awesome. The main dishes were very solid again. Would recommend to those looking for a bit above the standard taco restaurant or cantina.

My girlfriends and I absolutely love this place. The food was fantastic as was a service. I am gluten-free and there are plenty of things for me to eat in addition to the chips being gluten-free! Look forward to going back. Margaritas were great- not sweet and with lots of lime just like I prefer- but the bartenders are very accommodating if your preference is different. Great experience.

We were really impressed with Soluna. We went there for dinner and drinks, everything we had was delicious and very reasonably priced. Loved it so much we returned back for breakfast the following morning which was also outstanding. Full disclosure we were in town for the Taylor Swift concert, I swear I booked the restaurant weeks in advance before knowing they'd do a Taylor themed cocktail list - but yes that was an added bonus for me too! (Even if they hadn't still would've been 5 star review)

Great spot walking distance to the Homewood Suites. They were all decked out with Taylor Swift photo stations for the big concert weekend. Excellent food as well as delicious Taylor Swift signature cocktail menu! They made the evening even more special by their time and effort to decorate and celebrate the big weekend!

Soluna is a wonderful addition to the Latin American/Mexican food scene in PIttsburgh. Our dinner was first-rate, especially the Chimichurri Strip Steak and the Shrimp & Mango Lettuce cups. Loved the Mezcal cocktails. Olivia was the perfect waitress and so knowledgeable about the menu and mezcal. The atmosphere is very casual and the dining room looks over the 16th St. Bridge. We will definitely return. The Thursday Happy Hour beckons!

Went for cinco de Mayo and to try out the new menu. I pass by here all the time and was happy to finally try it out. It is a pretty big space and the food is wonderful. Now I’m terms of the drinks-some of them were really good and then for our second round neither one of us liked what we got. But on a positive note the papas bravas and plantains are sooo good so get them as a side at least. Will be back and will try breakfast soon.

Enjoyed this place for coffee, would not recommend for any evening/night meals. The tapas were incredibly bare bones (yes, with full acknowledgement to what tapas are), poorly cooked, and heavily overpriced. Read as: $18 for a single chicken breast with impressively little flavor or any unique ingredient warranting is price point. I am an awful cook and the chicken I casually make at home is marginally better than this entirely uninspired dish. Got the pork as well - overcooked, stiff, and again, $18 for about three bites. Price would have been warranted if this was actually a strong dish versus one it takes your entire essence to not send back. Suppose there is a strong reason why this place was effectively empty on a Friday evening. One of the few times I’ve walked out of a restaurant and a) felt inclined to leave a review and b) felt completely scammed by the experience. Tough, because they have great coffee.

We went down for the second time and brought our neighbors. Wow!!!! What an amazing time! We are going to make this our Friday night spot. I love the small plates. Ordered 6 things for our table with a bunch of amazing drinks. We had a blast hanging out here.

Cocktails are delicious, very creative flavors, pricier than most typical for Pittsburgh but you get what you pay for. Great ambiance, lively but still easy to have conversation. We’ll be back!
