Wonderful oceanfront location. They served freshly baked rolls to start which were addictive . We shared the seafood platter featuring local rockfish, Maryland crab cake, oysters Rockefeller, shrimp, broccolini and fingerling potatoes. The seafood was fresh and delicious. The waitress was friendly, helpful and efficient. One of us had the lemon and berry cake with mascarpone which was huge with a heavenly texture. It made for a lovely birthday dinner. The restaurant is not cheap but there are lower cost menu items like burgers and salads if you are watching your budget.

The food was superb and the ambiance on the deck was magical. We had the Atlantic waves as our background sight and sound and the sea air too! Excellent service by our wait staffer Kayla and all of the staff was courteous and accommodating

Wonderfully cozy and beautiful location. With the waves in the background and the excellent service, I would highly recommend this restaurant. Took a group of clients here during the conference and they were very complementary as well. The manager came over and checked on us a couple times to make sure that we were good and our waitress was delightful!

We used to stay at the Dunes in the past and thought we’d give the new place a try since I wanted to view the ocean. The view was great, the food was great, the service was great, the music was awesome. The ambiance left a little to be desired, it’s a little sterile, it was chilly, luckily I was able to put my jacket over the AC vent right by our table. The only thing that was strange is that it wasn’t busy, not many tables, and we saw the manager go to literally every table except ours to ask them how they were doing.

It’s hard to mess up oceanfront dining, but the management at Solstice Bar and Grill did just that. We had dinner reservations and were seated on time. That’s where the service ended. The server walked by our table several times without greeting us or acknowledging we were there. We waited 40 MINUTES before catching the attention of the server as she walked by to ask if we could put in our drink order. She was very sassy and told us that she was too busy. We got up to leave after we noticed her being rude to the elderly couple sitting next to us. ADVICE TO MANAGEMENT: I have been in the service industry for almost 40 years, and I have never seen such unprofessional behavior and lack of training until now. Your customers are paying customers. You are not doing them any favors. They are doing YOU a favor by patronizing or establishment. The irony is most of them were loyal to your location when it was the Dunes Manor. It’s easy return business, but somehow you managed to mess up, customer loyalty and oceanfront dining! If you don’t have adequate staff, then you shouldn’t be seating people for service. I noticed you seated at least one other party after us and they were sitting, waiting, and steaming too. As a manager, you should’ve made a call to stop seating people if you didn’t have the proper staff. Solve your staffing issues on your own time not your paying customers on time. I can’t comment on the food as we didn’t try it.

The seafood dish served without pasta was delicious. The crab dip which was also served with carrots and celery was health conscious, however the winner for the evening was the amazing charcuterie board. It was extremely generous in size for the price. We sat outside and even though it was windy, the blue moon was gorgeous making the evening romantic and unique.

The food was very over priced for the quality. Our server was not very knowledgeable about the menu and recommended a dish that was unavailable. Our drinks were not correct when brought out and the atmosphere of the room was quite strange.

We ate outside, which was covered with fans to keep us cool from the blazing sun. The ambience was delightful, beautiful and comfortable. The Prosecco was delicious. My husband chose the tuna tacos, which were good. I had the blackened Ahi tuna. It was pretty good, but the tuna looked a little on the grey side, which indicates it’s old. The server was very nice. The kids’ food was average and came on a plate that was a frisbee toy keepsake. That was an unexpected bonus. I would come again.

The view is exceptional & the decor is lovely. The charcuterie board is store bought items and over priced. The filet was very good as were the scallops that were on special. The service was acceptable… however for the price and atmosphere it was odd the wait staff wear jeans & sunglasses on their head.

The setting and view are lovely and the servers tried very hard to be helpful. The food was terrible and the drinks were warm (cocktail and white wine). "Blackened" rockfish was overcooked with red pepper sprinkled on top - not exactly blackened, and it was full of bones. My husband's salmon was also very overcooked. All were tasteless, including the side vegetables. And the entrees literally took an hour to come out. It was clear the kitchen was in disarray that night - all diners around us were frustrated. We will not be going back.

This is a beautiful restaurant and it has indoor and outdoor dinning. The inside has all glass windows overlooking the beach. Though the restaurant was half full it was still kind of quiet so you could have a conversation without bothering anyone else. The wait staff was very friendly and efficient and the food was very good, everything was fresh.

They were out of half the menu, salmon was so dry, pork chops looked like ones they picked up from Aldi and tasted like it too. Service was very, very slow with 5 tables in the whole place.

Service was abysmal. Came early( 5:30 pm so it wasn’t busy at all) server didn’t know the menu, never cleared our appetizer dishes and never offered another round of drinks throughout the evening. Then over an hour later, when the runner brought dinner out, he had to clear dishes (that the server never got) and brought out the completely wrong meal for one of our party. It was supposed to be a belated Father’s Day celebration but service kind of ruined the night.

Dining experience was excellent for a new restaurant. Some of the staff were still being trained and the drinks came out a bit watery/weak. However, the app ordered (crab dip) and entrees came out quickly, and tasted on par with a restaurant boasting $30-40 price points. We’ll be glad to come back again once they’ve had a bit of time to get things running efficiently.
