   Fantastic service. Now to the food-each dish was perfectly prepared with the freshest of ingredients-just superb! A truly authentic Italian dining experience with a great menu, which incorporated the many unique dishes from the Liguria region of italy. Moreover, great wine offerings and amazing desserts! We give this the highest recommendation!

   You will not be disappointed eating here. The service is excellent, the food is creative and very fresh, not to mention top notch. I try to eat here every time I’m in Portland. I highly recommend this restaurant.

   The wait staff was amazing, the only thing better than them was the food. We had the two pasta dishes, the portions were perfect and the the taste was phenomenal!

   Wonderful food. Cooked perfectly. Amazing service Meghan was a wonderful friend for the evening. Overall a very enjoyable evening. However the timing of plates left a little to be desired. @15 min wait for final plate (entree) little excessive but overall a wonderful dining experience. Thank you all.

   The staff was great; warm and well informed. The food was delicious, authentic and ample. We were not rushed.

   One of my favorite Portland restaurants. I am a bit disappointed that the pasta menu does not have more vegetarian pastas and that the kitchen does not accommodate easy variations. The food is excellent, as is the service, tho it is a noisy environment.

   Solo Italiano is a super Italian restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was cooked to perfection. I had a mixed green salad and the lamb while my guest had the scallop dish. The server was attentive, good natured, and professional. The restuarant was a little warm when we arrived (probably because the sun shines in through all the street facin gwindows in the afternoon), but it became quite comfortable as time went on. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and I will most certainly return.

   I am biased because this chef is my favorite. The pesto with handkerchief pasta is worth the hype and I still have yet to see focaccia di recco anywhere else.

    We booked a table but always prefer sitting at the bar when seats are available and we were in luck this time. The bar stools were extremely comfortable, the service excellent and the food delicious. The vibe is energetic but not so loud that you cannot speak to your neighbor. The overall ambiance is warm and inviting. Prices are on the high side but it was a well spent night out.
