    We had one of the best meals we’ve had in San Miguel. I highly recommend the tomahawk. We also had a delicious brussels sprout salad and a watermelon salad. The service by Manuel was first class. Muchas Gracias.

    When you are looking for a terrace in downtown San Miguel, you are almost never worried about food quality, I mean the view and the place is very nice, but service and food is definitely not good at all. We had only 3 plates, and only the shrimp aguachile was good, but definitely not excellent. I don’t recommend this place at all. Service is bad and it feels left over to the employees.

    La carne no la sirvieron 3/4 la entregaron en una parrilla fría y cruda y ya después con una parrilla caliente que se tardaron 10 minutos perdió su sabor lástima que es un restaurante de especialidad de carne y no la supieron preparar bien

    Muy buen sabor en sus platillos, desgraciadamente nos cerraron la cocina sin avisar y nos dejaron sin postre. Íbamos en familia y no tuvieron el criterio para servirnos un postre 5 min después de que la cerraron.

    Of the three “steak houses” we dined at during our time in SMA, Sollano 18 was the closest to meeting our expectations for a fine dining experience. It should be noted that the cuts of meat in Mexico are different than those in the US, Brazil, Japan and Australia, so you will want to research ahead of time the most suitable cut, flavor, temperature, and marbling that you want. And if you are not sure about size, compare the listed grams to ounces so you understand portion. We ordered a filet and rib eye and both were prepared correctly to order, but were significantly larger portion sizes than what we would typically eat - and we ordered the smallest of each listed on the menu. Note that with the type of preparation, a separate charge occurs so be aware that your bill could have multiple add-ons that you may not have known that were outside normal preparation and / or serving for the dish. For instance, if they “fire” (flaming at the table of your meat), this costs extra. We did not understand this at the time, and no mention was made by the wait staff that this was an extra charge. In total the extra charges came to approximately 10% of the bill. Service was ample, but as the night wore on between courses, the timing grew longer between each, extending our dining by an hour. An appetizer, main course, 2 sides and dessert with 2 alcoholic drinks will run approximately $5,000 pesos including tip. Expect to spend 2.5 hours for the total experience. The location is central making it easy to get to, along with an amazing view of the city and Parroquia.

    A wonderful rooftop experience with a stunning view of the city. The staff, especially Miguel Angel and Isai, ensured our evening was delightful. The food was incredible. Highly recommended!
