I have been here dozens of times and just expect that service will always be mediocre. The service on my last visit was horrendous. We sat for a good 20 minutes without anybody coming over. We finally ordered drinks and food and he forgot our drink order which took another 20 minutes. Can you imagine, almost 45 minutes without even so much as a drink? Incredibly frustrating. They have a great taco Tuesday deal, but not worth the frustration. Not to mention that it was so loud, it was hard to hear the person across the table.

Our experience was fantastic. When we arrive our table was ready and set to go. We were immediately asked what we wanted to drink. Chips and salsa were delivered to the table and were always refilled without asking. Everything we ordered was so good. But the best thing about our experience was our server Monica. Her and her wait staff were wonderful. She made my daughters birthday very, very special. Thank you all again.

Great food and service. A little bit on the pricier side but we didn’t mind because it was good quality and the patio was wonderful - they don’t crowd the tables together so you have some space.

We went for frozen strawberry margaritas and an appetizer. We chose the queso and it was phenomenal. The fresh cheese and veggies in the skillet was the perfect mix. We also had the chips and salsa and it was super good, a little spice but not too hot. Service was good, fairly quick and attentive. Will definitely be back.

My appetizers came out before our drinks? My burrito came out 10 mins before my wife’s food? (so it sat while waiting )They fricking put steak in my veggie burrito. Full of steak. If I eat meat it tears up my insides. This is a huge health concern. I won’t be going back. If you eat there make sure you get your proper order

We were seated quickly upon arrival, and taken to our patio table. Water and chips were immediately given to us, and we were given a few moments to place our drink and dinner orders. Everything was fresh and tasty. Additional chips and salsa were brought upon our request. Have been before, and will return again, because we really enjoy the overall experience.

Carnitas good flavor. Corn tortilla were falling apart before I could get the taco to my mouth, too wet. Black beans a little too salty, and rice a little dry. Mango margaritas, very syrupy and too sweet. Appreciated the good service.

The restaurant was pretty packed and only two food servers were available. So it was a long wait for anyone to come to the table. The hostess was not friendly at all and the manager did come to our table to help out. He asked how we were doing but didn’t even wait for us to answer him before he walked away. So really no help at all. I’ve had better experiences there.

As a regular here my wife and I brought two other couples to show off our favorite place however the fish tacos were overcooked and we all had one round of drinks and never saw our waiter again. After two hours we had to find a manager to help us out with the check and of course she was all apologetic but didn’t take any of the fish tacos that were not eaten off the bill, very embarrassing since we told our friends what a great place this is.

Six of us old time friends got together for lunch this week. Service was excellent, from a server I recognize from the times I've been there. Food and ambience was nice - It would make it perfect if they could turn down the music a bit. I came to dinner with my friend (she was much younger) and she does not want to return because of the noise level. Over all Solita was very nice as well as the restaurant in Newport Beach - Sol.

My husband and I went to Solita for the first time and will certainly go again. The staff was very friendly and the food was fabulous. My husband had the carnitas and said it was the best he's ever had.

Loved the beautiful outdoor covered patio - so California living. Our drinks were just delightful, a mango frozen margarita and the very unique and delicious smoky hermanita. Seriously. The taquitos were filled with chicken, hot,, crisp, and plated very nicely. Our entrees were just great, and let me just say that I’ve never had better carnitas! Can’t wait to come back and try everything. Thank you for a delightful dinner.

love the carnitas tacos. soft tender, really quality meat. the grilled chicken tacos exceptional. the wife likes the house margaritas, i like their coffee. the music on taco tuesday from six to 9 fits really well, usuallly a guitar and vocals.

We had 6pm dinner reservations with friends in hopes to catch up over a nice, relaxing dinner and enjoy delicious drinks but the solo artist they have playing was soooo loud! It felt like you were in a club, we couldn’t hear each other unless we were yelling. I enjoy live music but at a nice level so you can converse while eating. I could totally understand if it was after 8pm but at 6pm after a long week of work … a nice level of background music would have made our experience so much better!

Our server messed up the bill 3 times.....First attempt to charge us was $198...Second attempt was $175....Third and final correct amount was $132 Tried to charge us for things that we did not order. Not sure how this can happen except negligence. We have dined here many times with no past issues....Going to take a break

Me and the Mrs have been going on taco tuesday for the past two months. best carnitas tacos ever. dont know where they buy their meat, but gosh it is good. they are much different than the "normal" taco. the house salsa is more than spicey, but they have two others that they serve with the chips that will blow your head off, just to let you know. the wood grilled chicken tacos also very tasty. the mrs gets a house margarita for 7 bucks, she likes it. I get a cup of coffee, the coffee here is excellent but at 6 pm they may have to make a fresh pot, and they will. from 6 to 8 on Tuesday they have live guitar/singing. we sit at the table watch the tv sports, listen to the music, time well spent. The four taco Tuesday street tacos go for 15 bucks, a little pricey, but it is really good. we split it and both are content. (we are old)Total bill 26 bucks, then give 10 to the server, 10 to the musician. the staff is very helpful, the manager knows what she is doing. the open table reservation works really well. walk in and say, "hi I'm Bruce. we have a table for two at six." no waiting in line.
