We had a small surprise happy hour here for my husband and some friends. The location was perfect facing the ocean. The service was outstanding. There were a lot of logistics to the surprise and our server (I think her name was Marina) and the team went above and beyond to make sure that everything went forward without a hitch. I couldn’t be more happy with how it turned out and I am so thankful that the staff were as helpful and accommodating as they were. The drinks are on the pricier side but I would say that’s expected for a hotel bar.

PR Restaurant 2022 was considered a special occasion for me. Great ambiance and the unique dishes that were served by creative chefs. I’m glad I was able to experience this trip traveling from Charlotte, NC.

The service was excellent from the waiters. But the food was horrible. The fish tacos with mahi mahi we’re so tough and overcooked it was harder than fish jerky. I took a video of me banging the fish on a plate. It actually made a clanging sound. It seems they may have fried the fish in advance then maybe microwaved it. Yuk. Plus it was fishy. Also in my video it shows me breaking apart this piece of fish only to show pointed hard fish. It could have broken a tooth. I expect more from a Marriott brand hotel restaurant. Usually Marriott has good food. But this was a waste of money. The manager thanked me for my feedback with no offer to compensate me in any way. Don’t go there.

We ate at poolside. Very nice. Service was good. Waiter highly recommended an appetizer. I didn’t really understand what he was describing in Spanish. I ordered the app and it was octopus. Just ok. Very rubbery. My mistake. My steak was great and my wife’s fish was excellent.

Nice atmosphere. Probably more the reason you would go. Made a reservation but it means nothing. No one to check in with upon arrival and was told you can sit anywhere when table is available. So don't understand that. Salmon was good

So, we reserved a space but when we got there we had no idea where to go or what to do. This place is inside of a restaurant and in the pool area so it was confusing. We asked the staff at the bar what to do or where to sit and they said anywhere. I was confused because why would we need reservations? Also, I requested a specific area to sit where we can see the beach, which was my reason for making the reservation. It was Valentine’s Day and also my boyfriends birthday. After explaining this, they sat us around the corner with the beach view which was really nice and beautiful. The staff had no idea we were there though. Another couple was sat and their waitress came out quickly and brought waters. We had been sitting there about 15 mins before them. I had to get her attention and say hey? We are here too, been here for a while. She went and got another waiter who was amazing. He did a good job. The food was mediocre. Even the selections didn’t look too great but I knew this before arriving from looking at the menu. I was more so there for the view. It’s an ok place but if asking if I recommend, I say no. There are other places with nice views and clearer directions

I checked the Concha website and dining options. There was no mention of Solera being only for hotel guests. I called them too, but no one picked up. So i made a reservation at Solera on open table for Christmas eve dinner at 8 pm. I get a call from someone after 5 pm saying they couldn't honor my reservation because I wasn't a hotel guest. And they claimed zero responsibility for the error on their website and on open table. This 1 star review is specifically for that

Honestly they should state that after a certain time people who aren’t hotel guests can’t sit outside at Solera. We had to be instructed inside only and we couldn’t even take pictures. He was being sooo pressed about his job he didn’t give any leeway, they are strict. Place is very nice and next time I’ll be sure to be a guest bc the way they treat non guest is crap.

When you arrived, there is no one to greet you, people just sit wherever they want. You have to order trough a QR code, no one explains this. Drinks and food are seriously overpriced. The only appetizer worth ordering are the nachos. They automatically add a 15% tip, even when the service did not live up to expectations due to the slowness of the servers.

We got there and they told us they cannot accommodate our reservation because they no longer work with open table and they only accommodate hotel guests. It was extremely frustrating since we could not get in anywhere else because of the curfew.
