The rib eye steak was ok but the Filets were great. For the price I would have expected all the food to be great. The outdoor seating is great and we got to see some large sting rays come up to the rocks. Definitely worth going for the view.

It was a great dinning experience the atmosphere was fantastic with great ambiance. Food was decent with plenty of choices service was a bit slow also depending who is your server as we saw a party that arrived after us receive their appetizers before us even when we ordered before them, which wasn’t nice. But overall we had a great time.

Ambience of the restaurant was amazing! Right on the water and the perfect view for sunset., when you find it. There was no street number so we had a little trouble locating. Nice selection on the menu and the food tasted great. Some of the pricing was extreme such as a bottle of water for $11. I had indicated it was my birthday but it wasn't acknowledged and that would have been a nice touch but on a whole, a nice experience for whatever occasion you are celebrating.

Our party of 6 loved the beautiful setting by the water, and everyone enjoyed their meals. The only problem was they brought out the salads at the same time as entrees, and one person didn’t get their entree. He finally got it after most of us had finished.

This was my second time dining at Solemar, my first time I had no issues and really enjoyed my food. This time however, it seemed to me that the quality dropped. I had two appetizers (lobster and octopus) they were both fine. I also ordered a Caesar salad and the dressing was watery not having the creamy consistency that is expected. My wife had the Thai Red Curry Fish which was fine no complaints there. My ribeye steak was unfortunately disappointing, the most glaring issue was that it came to my table at room temperature, no heat on the steak at all, the fat cap on the steak was not rendered and it was under seasoned making it overall unpleasant to eat. The steak was cooked to the right doneness of medium rare like I asked. The atmosphere is always nice here though, just disappointed with my food this time.
