Absolutely amazing time in Sole. Fiona looked after us so well and I will definitely be recommending this restaurant to all my friends and family. The staff were all fantastic and the customer service was brilliant.
Amazing experience on Christmas Eve, we felt so safe and the service and food were simply outstanding! Can’t wait to go back already.

Great dining experience for anyone with an interest in seafood
This was our first visit and we will definitely be going back! The restaurant has great ambiance and our meals were lovely. The tasting menu is reasonably priced and all 3 courses were excellent. Our waiter Zuzana was fabulous and picked out the most beautiful bottle of white wine which complemented our meal wonderfully.
I normally eat in Fire do when I heard SOLE was their sister restaurant I had to try it. I've been back twice now and throughly enjoyed it.
Staff were lovely Antonio and Zucana in particular (hope I spelt the names right)
Warm atmosphere very inviting and not shoving you out the door

It is extremely disappointing that Sole separate VAT off their menu prices and that it isn’t fully clear until you pay the full bill that the prices quoted on the menu are exclusive of VAT.
This type of system works well in USA where people are used to sales tax added on afterwards but it is NOT the norm in Ireland. It left a very bad feeling for us that the final bill was much higher than we expected.
Dear Anonymous, We are very sorry to read you review, however you interpretation of our billing system is untrue. If you take a closer look at your bill you will see that the tax breakdown is already incorporated into the bill total, and matches the prices on the menu. Food was lovely but a tad expensive and was only Xmas fare offered

I went to Sole for the first time on the last Sunday before Christmas with my partner, and it was fantastic. Service, food and wine were 10/10. Antonio our server was particularly helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend

I love the food, the waiters, the restaurant. And I would highly recommend it.
I do think some of the menu is a little overpriced. But I still go back.. So that speaks for itself 😁

Great service and very clean food was a bit cold but still good

This was the tastiest meal out my fiance and I have had in a very long time. Couldn't fault the service, the wait staff were on the ball. After we were seated we had someone talk us through the menu and we were given time to make our choices without being rushed. Empty glasses were taken promptly and when we finished each coarse so we're the empty plates. Our wine glasses were promptly filled also. The food was amazing. Very high standard. I even tried my first oyster. Will be back again for sure.

Food was good, experience wasn’t. We were on the clock from when we sat down. Hectic up-selling throughout. Bill landed on the table and we were moved along. Not exactly an enjoyable Christmas meal. (Covid precautions well managed, no fault there)

We had a lovely meal after a long day shopping in town. The Christmas menu had a variety of options and everything was very fresh and delicious. Antonio, our waiter from Croatia was extremely helpful. We'll definitely be back!

But paying extra €50 each for the seafood tower was a bit extreme to say the least ,

Nice atmosphere despite the restrictions. The menu was limited for the same reason so dont think we saw this place at it's best as the venue is forced to take extra precautions and limits service options. On the food, the oysters were great for starter and the scallops. The main courses , lobster and steak were OK only. One of the deserts was disappointing - chocolate brownie that was dry. Christmas pudding was good. Overall quite pricey for what what was average enough food but if you ordered the seafood tower, I expect that's where their experise is. (that was 50 euro extra for 2 people)
