    Really fantastic dining experience, the Oysters were delicious and the wine selection was superb. The waiter who served us was very attentive and professional. My girlfriend is a pesscaterian for years and said the Hake was one of the best pieces of fish she has ever had.

    Excellent service and food. Venue very well laid out and maintained, good space between tables for privacy. Atmosphere was warm and relaxed. Food was very well presented with good selection of wines (which were a bit pricey) I would highly recommend this restaurant.

    We were not into oysters or seafood towers, so selected alternatives. Strangely, the ribeye was the highlight of the dinner, accompanying pepper sauce - just amazing. Mackerel appetiser was strange, and acidulous caper taste overwhelmed the tuna tartar. As for main entry, salmon was cut into smaller pieces and was drier / too well cooked as we would have liked it, while the sides did not make sense.

    The atmosphere, service and ambience is 10/10. Thank you to Ante for his warm and knowledgeable service. A beautiful menu with flavoursome dishes namely the monkfish, the scallops starter was delicious but could have been executed better - tidier plate, slightly more purée & crispier bacon. Id highly recommend SOLE and we’re looking forward to our next visit.

    Not our first time. As always the service was excellent. Made feel very welcome. The waiter even remembered us from the last time, and gave us complimentary oysters. Quality of the food is exceptional. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere with plenty of space between tables. Will definitely be going back.

    We had an amazing night in Sole. The food and wine tasted superb. I had the scallops with pea purée for a starter and monkfish for main. Wow! And my dining companions all thoroughly enjoyed their food too. The steaks were cooked to perfection and all the food was hot. The waiting staff were friendly and good craic. No complaints at all. It is a bit pricy but we knew that before we booked and as it was for a special occasion we didn’t mind. We’d definitely return.

    Second visit to Sole. We had the special - Turbot with asparagus and potatoes in a caper sauce. Cooked to perfection and seasoned well. We ordered two of each type of oyster. The Connemara oysters were the best. Had to order more. Delicious fresh food, attentive service and great location.
