   Amazing evening as always. Our waitress was so nice and she made our evening. We have never had a bad experience. Lovely surprise with a dessert plate for our anniversary.

   Beautiful restaurant. The staff were very professional. We had the smoked salmon and mussels to start, both were excellent. The monkfish and fish pie mains were excellent. The Guinness cake was good. The coffee was very good. Looking forward to our next visit.

   Delightful from the minute we walked through the front door. There are times when a mediocre meal can be salvaged by a great wait staff. And then there are times when a great meal can be made awful by a horrible wait staff. Pleased to say that this was a GREAT meal served by a FANTASTIC wait staff. Dover Sole and Beef Carpaccio were outstanding. Caesar salad was prepared perfectly. I ordered the Dingle crab and it was very good. Definitely recommend as this was one of the best restaurants we have been to on our trip.

   Outstanding food & service, thank you. Ubi was our waiter for the evening and he actually made our night, he was very knowledgeable, helpful and we had fun with him. Amazing seafood. Can't wait to go back. Thanks to all staff that made our night so special.

   Had a wonderful experience in Sole. The service is excellent. We sat at the bar which is a great spot. Food both starters of prawns and oysters were scrumptious as was our mains. I didn’t have fish, but went for the fillet steak which was cooked to perfection.

   Very busy Saturday night. Noisy and felt that tables needed to be turned. Food good but not exceptional. Felt a bit rushed and in a side area of the restaurant which was a bit odd. Service and food OK.

   Overall enjoyable. Had long been looking forward to the meal after several bookings and cancellations. Restaurant was busier than expected for 5PM on Saturday which elevated the atmosphere. Our table was situated behind a curtain which was fine for two though would have preferred something in the open. And I believe also via the signs in the mens room some renovations are ongoing. The service was excellent through several servers, and the food was good apart from one main course. We ordered fish and chips - second guessing our choice for a seafood restaurant - having seen it served at a nearby table. When it arrived, the portion of fish was generous but it clearly appeared to have been cooked from frozen. And this was confirmed upon tasting. There was no discernable flavour from the fish and the texture of the batter was soft and mushy. The accompanying side of chips was adequate in size but also clearly these were frozen fries as opposed to fresh cut potato chips. We chose not to complain in the interests of time, but for such a basic dish it was extremely disappointing not to be served fresh prepared ingredients. Thus, it would be hard to recommend Sole on the basis of the food and the cost of same. But a lovely setting and professional and attentive staff. Thanks and regards

    Always enjoy our experience at Sole. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. You never feel rushed and atmosphere is always great.
