   We went to Solbar for my birthday and had a delicious meal. Our waitress was very friendly and made great wine pairing recommendations. We shared the warm bread and truffle butter, shrimp cocktail, and the beet tart - all excellent. Then I had the lobster gnocchi (heavenly) and my husband had the pork cutlet (he said it was great). We had butterscotch pudding and an apple tart for our desserts. Admittedly, I did overdo it a little, but everything I had was so tasty, I’d do it all over again.

   We had a great lunch! Seating outside in the shade was limited due to the 80 degree day, so we ate indoors! The fish tacos were amazing! Another great experience!

   Solbar is my favorite restaurant in Wine Country. Food, service, drinks, and pup friendly make this a wonderful place for lunch or dinner!

   My husband and I recently had dinner at Solbar after being referred there by Kendall Green, the tasting room manager at Girard Winery. It was one of the best meals we have ever had! We sat outside in a large beautiful area which had plenty of heat lamps to keep us warm. Our lovely waitress suggested a Walter Hansel pinot which was beautiful and bigger than many Russian River pinots. We split a little gems salad which was delicious. On the waitresses recommendation, I had the roasted cauliflower for the entrée. I was a bit skeptical since roasted cauliflower can be so boring but this was different. It had a beautiful tahini sauce that I'm still thinking about! It truly was the best meal I've ever had! My husband had the chicken and dumpling. It was not your typical heavy dish, the chicken was perfectly cooked and in more of a broth than a gravy. And the dumplings weren't blobs of dough -- they were perfect little pasta pockets with an herbed chicken stuffing. He loved it! We can't wait to go back.

   Wow. What an amazing dinner we had. Everything was perfect. The only reason I didn’t give five stars for values because it’s definitely a pricey experience but I have to say that it’s probably one of the best dinner experiences we’ve had in many years. Love this place. They did such a good job.

   Excellent food, service, ambiance. Best meal we had on our napa vacation! Stephanie our server was fabulous as was the sommelier.

   The environment is beautiful. Nice relaxing restaurant. Good selection of menu. Staff were friendly but unfortunately our waiter was not very enthusiastic. We were left guessing the menu and not feel the welcoming atmosphere. Food was decent and the plating is very pleasing to the eyes. The 48 hour beef ribs is the best so does the prime rib.

    Solbar never disappoints, especially sitting outside and the weather is beautiful! Service was on point and you cannot go wrong with the truffle fries and the shrimp lettuce wraps.
