The service was fabulous and the food was delicious. I was there for a business lunch and the staff accommodated me in a variety of ways. I was able to preorder our lunches and they had them ready on time. I requested a quiet table and they found the perfect spot. The staff was friendly and eager to please. The food was delicious and the portions were generous.
While the food was good, the service was not-so-good. BAD actually. When we got there, about 5 mins before our reservation, nobody assisted us at the reservations check-in. The lady at the front desk helped us out and even helped set our table (where was the actual staff doing this?). Our table wasn't ready and I noticed that about 4-5 tables were uncleared from previous diners; bad first impression. We got seated by the front desk rep lady, again not a waitstaff member. We didn't get served water/bread for about 15 mins AFTER we've been seated. Seriously? Even for water? Awful! Throughout our meal, no one came by
to check on us to top waters, etc. They didn't clear our plates until the next meal was ready to be served. For instance, they came out with our dessert but had to set those down at a nearby table to clear our entree plates so they could serve our dessert (I'm banging my head against the wall at this point).
Other things I noticed: 1) There was a male waitstaff (maybe the bartender?) walking around the place but not helping. He took care of ONE customer at the bar. He did ask us if were were taken of for water/drinks/bread but that was it. He definitely could've pitched in and helped the waitstaff even if it wasn't his "job." What happened to being a team player? 2) We were seated apart from the rest of crowd which made getting service that much more difficult. I believe we were seated where we were b/c the other tables around us were left uncleared. 3) About half way through our dinner, an older couple was seated a table away from us. They were served promptly and had 2 waitstaff serving them (out of nowhere)! They must've been 'special'...
I do want to mention that this was for Christmas Day dinner so that may explain the lack of staff and service. And I assume they weren't motivated to be there on Christmas Day. Even still, that's no excuse to not have a table ready for folks who made reservations days in advance. Would NEVER go there again.
We went to the Christmas buffet lunch. The food was wonderful and there was a huge variety. I would certainly recommend to friends.

We went for the Christmas Day brunch. Lots of food; none of it bad but none ultra-remarkable. Everything was nicely presented and there was plenty to choose from. All staff were kind, courteous, cheerful and very helpful.
Christmas brunch is totally worth it!

We realized we needed a place to have dinner with family late and made a reservation here based on what we saw on Yelp. We were the only ones there, the service was slow and couldn't answer basic questions about nut allergies. The food was mediocre and the ambiance was non-existent.
I didn't realize this restaurant is in the lobby of the hotel. It has no ambiance and food and service were just ok. Probably fine if you were staying at the hotel and needed a bite to eat.
We had never been to this restaurant and chose it because of its location; we would be avoiding the festive Candy Cane Lane chaos and have easy parking. The reviews were positive so we were all hopeful it would be a secret find!
We were so disappointed. The fact that it is inside a hotel was fine... BUT we should have known by how empty it was that this wasn't a good choice. The service was HORRIBLE. And we were the ONLY table! The food was almost inedible. The steak was like a Salisbury TV dinner. The scallops were in some weird mush that was supposed to be Risotto and the fish and chips- which you would think would be the safest option- gave me GI problems that night and next day! Total fail.
The Solarium is a restaurant in the lobby of the hotel. It seemed to us that the food was not a major priority for the hotel, though it would be good enough to meet the need of anyone who was staying there. As a destination for locals looking for a good place to eat out, we did not find it either particularly good or worth traveling to. We've eaten in many places where the food, and the ambiance were much more inviting. We won't be coming back.
We've done holiday buffets in the past and had great experiences here. So we'll probably visit again for other occasions, but not return for Thanksgiving. Our server was sub-par, didn't ask for drink orders or refill waters (which is pretty much all you have to do at a buffet). Food was abundant, but mixed reviews from our table. The ambiance was okay, we were able to enjoy each other's company as it wasn't too loud.

I have already told family and friends how incredible our experience was at your restaurant and recommended that they try it next year. We are even contemplating coming over again for Christmas. The staff was professional, yet warming and the food was absolutely delicious. Even my children enjoyed everything. Thank you!
I'm never disappointed with the Thanksgiving buffet. I was pleasently surprised that sugar free and gluten free dessert options were offerred.
Thanksgiving buffet should’ve been priced closer to $29 than $50. Service was exceptionally friendly and attentive but food quality was average. Buffets are tough to manage for sure, and many serve average food quality. The atmosphere is interesting - in a very-well-sunlit room adjacent to the lobby of the Bellevue Hilton. Can’t say enough great about the service - off-the-charts well done.
We went to the Thanksgiving Buffet. There was a large selection of food, and if you like seafood there was some. The food was rather bland. They only had Turkey Breast which was dry. The deserts were kind of meh. Some had some artificial flavoring type taste. The cheesecakes tasted like it was from a boxed mix. Just overall a mediocre experience
We went for this year's Thanksgiving buffet. The food choices were diverse and very tasty. The price was reasonable, and the setting was very pleasant.
The service was a bit slow, i.e. to get refills on drinks. And the kids' food was tucked away, which we didn't know about until I hear a hostess tell another group.
All in all, I would definitely consider going again, especially for a holiday buffet.
Food was presented well and tasty. We went on a Friday night. Not at all crowded which had me worried. The restaurant is open to the hotel lobby. You see everyone who walks in and out of the hotel but the lobby is nice and mostly quiet. The only disappointment was the server was pretty slow despite not being too taxed with tables.

The food was tasty although the items we wanted to order were sold out for the night so we had to go with out second choice.
Ambiance could have been a little bit better. Service was okay. Our waiter checked on us constantly to see if we needed anything else. The pumpkin spice cream brûlée was amazing! We’ll be back soon.
Given the high ratings for this restaurant at OpenTable and the appealing Restaurant Week menu, we decided to try them. We’re always looking for a nice restaurant close to home.
We didn’t realize this restaurant was located just off the lobby of a large upscale hotel. The lobby is vacuous. The ceiling is very high so the open dining area was brightly lit, a little echoing and completely the opposite of cozy. The food, however, was very good, especially the main courses we chose ( flat iron steak with a rich Demi-glacé like sauce and jumbo shrimp curry). The appetizers were good, not exceptional (seafood chowder, pork spring rolls). All portions were generous. The desserts were okay ( chocolate cake, White chocolate mouse, pumpkin spice creme brûlée).
Service was very good, friendly but I wish the server didn’t come around quite so often. Maybe it was because we ate early and there weren’t many other patrons there.
Overall, we had a pleasant and surprisingly tasty meal. If the ambience was better, I would have rated this restaurant higher.
Open floor plan, the hotel lobby bleeds into the restaurant. Feels like a cafeteria which is fitting to the ambiance of the quality of food served. No clear "enterance" and feels ackward trying to figure out how to get seated.
Dinner was outstanding and would definitely go back. The wait person Sue double charged us and we didn’t notice until looking at credit card statement. After a few calls, Kamin, the manager straightened everything out.

Service was pretty good, but it was empty. The cocktail bar tender was “not available”, so I was told to get a different drink. Salmon was not very good, but the seafood chowder was wonderful. Probably won’t come back, but glad we tried it.
Restaurant is part of the Bellevue Hilton hotel. Open dining area with very impressive glass ceiling ... an atrium like feel.
We arrived at 7 PM and the place was deserted, although our wait staff told us it was very busy an hour ago. Location is somewhat out of the way from central Bellevue, so diners maybe limited to travelers and activity attendees. (Few other couples/group arrived a bit later.).
Service started kind of slow, as if we were there at an unusual time and why are you here? After a while, she did warm up a bit. Food, mmmm, not so much. My NY steak was very gristly and difficult to chew. My wife enjoyed her steak salad.
We may try Solarium again for lunch or dinner in the summer time to see what glass ceiling looks like under the sun light.
The season chowder was excellent but I didn't care for the Dungeness crab cakes
The food is fresh and not overdone or over seasoned, allowing appreciation of each ingredient. The service is attentive. The elegant atrium provides a relaxing ambience.
We have always had the most friendly servers at this restaurant. We typically go for brunch on Sundays or dinner during the week. The food is good and they change up the menu occasionally.
The restaurant is in the lobby of a hotel which is misleading on OpenTable. We were not aware of this until we got there and when we asked about our reservation, they had not set up any tables or even seemed aware that we made a reservation. The service was very slow even though we were one of the only tables in the "restaurant". Our server took about twenty minutes to get our drink order and another 20-30 mins to get our drinks to our table. We received our food about 5 minutes after we got our drinks. It was my birthday dinner and nothing special was offered, no dessert or anything like that. The food was good but everything else was disappointing.
This is a lightly staffed hotel lobby restaurant. At 1 on a Saturday we were one of 3 tables occupied. It took staff a couple of minutes to notice that they had new customers. Not bad, but not what we expected. Should’ve looked at a map and seen that it is in a Hilton.
What an experience. I had to find a server so we could be seated. Steaks were mis matched as my wife’s was grisly and mine perfect. Food was very good but we waited about 35 minutes to receive our meal and they were not that busy.
During breakfast there is open seating so my reservation want checked in. also the bar isn’t open so no bloody Mary’s
