I wouldn’t recommend. Service was terrible. Bartender/waitress took forever servicing people of color.
Great customer service!
Great food and very good value! Friendly staff. Environment is average.
Easter brunch
Easter Brunch was good. Lots of choices and friendly helpful staff.
We went for Easter brunch. The food was good but not amazing. I felt like it was priced fairly well. We were seated right on time. They kept our drinks and water full.
Had Easter brunch with my family. Reservations were easy. We were sat in time. The food was great from the omelet bar to carving station and everything in between. Gloves were provided due to covid which made me feel good that we weren’t touching things with our hands.
I think it’s just a little over priced for the food choices
Easter brunch
Our server was wonderful. The restaurant is airy and distanced and comfortable. All Great.
We ordered items off of the $35 three-course meal menu. All of our dinners were great tasting and served fairly quickly. Of course in these days, there weren’t many people in the restaurant. Our server was friendly and helpful.
My only complaint is that the restaurant is fairly cold because it is located right at the main lobby of the hotel. There is a lot of Granite and Marble around, which seems to keep it rather cool.
This is a hidden gem with a fantastic value compared to higher-end eateries in Bellevue. The ambiance is what you'd expect in a hotel -- the main portion of the restaurant is adjacent to the lobby but we were invited back to the bar area (our option) where it was a bit more quiet. Service was outstanding, even with only one server who apparently also tended bar and made a fantastic sunset martini.
The menu is somewhat limited but reasonably priced and well prepared. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and service for the price, much better than chain restaurants.
We love to eat at the higher end restaurants but our budget requires sanity once in a while and this place is on our list for places to go when we don't feel like splurging but still want to feel a little bit special. We'll be back!
One of the best bang for your buck fancy dinners I have ever had. This restaurant being at a hotel sketched me out a bit but once you walk in and see the ambiance you know youre in for a treat. I took my girlfriend out here for Valentines and oh my did they deliver. I had delicious Lobster Bisque that was creamy, with sweet lobster, and a touch of spices. The risotto and scallops changed my whole view on scallops because they were perfectly cooked and juicy and tender. That combined with the buttery risotto were a delicious combo. Lastly the 3 layered mouse cake was so good and rich that it took me and my partner about 15 minutes just to each the cake itself. Overall 5/5 and only for 110$ for the both of us this restaurant deal was a steal! Portions were big and trust me they did not lack on flavor.
The dinner was fantastic and the service was exceptional, we really enjoyed our time with my wife. Definitely coming back....
I showed up for my reservation at 6pm on 2/6/2021. The place was empty, there was no waitstaff or host to greet me. It would have been nice if I had been notified that they were not currently open and you should not allow people to make reservations on open table.
We took advantage of restaurant week, 3 courses for $35 and will definitely return during the rest of the year. Popcorn shrimp appetizer was very generous and tasty, short ribs were tender and delicious and the chocolate dessert was fantastic. I’ll admit, going in my expectations for hotel food were not the highest....well, I was blown away. Taste and presentation were 5 star. Looking forward to returning.
I read the comments about this restaurant being in a hotel
Lobby, so we were prepared for that. What I wasn’t prepared for was how cold it was going to be because the front doors were constantly opening. The server was very kind and surprisingly present even though she was the only waitress covering about 6-8 tables. Food was good enough considering the SRW 3-course for $35 deal. I don’t think we will be back but it was nice to try a new place.
We went for the restaurant week special. This is a Hilton hotel restaurant in a soaring atrium area.. The food was plentiful enough for us. There were 4 seniors. The coconut sesame chicken appetizer was just ok. None of the flavors were particularly obvious. Most of us had the 72 hr. Beef short ribs over mashed potatoes with a dark sauce over them. They were very tender and it was only the meat, no bones which was nice. It was good but nothing to rave about.
I had a very good syrah with dinner. The dessert was really good. It was an individual cake with flour less chocolate cake on the bottom, white chocolate ganache next and coated in a hard chocolate shell with a strawberry and whip cream garnish. Yum.
Our server was super nice and attentive. The restaurant space is on the other side of the main entrance and reception area of a Hilton hotel so the ambience could have been better. But due to COVID and less people eating there it was nice and quiet so conversation was enjoyable. We enjoyed ourselves but would probably not make a point of going again.
Solarium is a restaurant in a hotel lobby. The restaurant was short staffed, though very polite. Food was below average with low presentation skills. There were a couple of sauces that were thrown together and very much needing to be tweaked. Desserts were also a let down, with a final crumbly half broken wedge of chocolate cake capping off the meal. The pomegrante cheesecake and the short rib entree were the highlights of the meal amongst 12 total items that we sampled..
The 3 course dinner during Seattle Restaurant Week was amazing! The dessert captured my heart! Our server was great and attentive.
Food was very good, better than expected from a hotel kitchen
Service was great, it was one person covering tables and the bar and she did amazing with a very kind attitude and cheerful personality.
Server was great, with covid-19 she was the only server who was also the bar tender ! Food was good which we don't always see in hotels.
Great experience
Great dinner and so accommodating for our friends birthday! Thank you!!!
Terrible, setting is in the lobby of the hotel! We left !
We were the only people not he dining room. During this corona Virus the restaurant and bar was virtually empty. We decided to eat in the bar. Our waiter was super, visited with us, made us feel very comfortable. Our dinner was outstanding, especially the salmon!! Best ever!! She also made me a perfect martini!! We will definitely return! Thank you !
The restaurant is at the Hilton hotel and There wasn’t a checking table at the restaurant so, had to go talk to the hotel front desk clerk who called someone at the restaurant come get us seated. Waited 5 minutes and no one came so, the clerk took the liberty to seat us. We were immediately waited on by one of the best waitress we’ve encountered in a long time. Zoya was very helpful and patient with us especially with my wife who is a picky eater. She periodically checked on us and made our experience wonderful.
Valentine’s Day dinner! Food was tasty; the ambiance was okay given that it’s a hotel restaurant. The service was excellent - our waitress was nice. Not the fanciest or classiest or most modern place to be in town, but it was a good experience considering we booked our reservation last minute, and not many other restaurants had availability!
The location is right in the lobby. A divider would be nice. Service and the food is incredibly tasty.
I must admit my friends and I were surprised to realize we had made reservations in a hotel lobby restaurant. We were skeptical at first. But the service was great and the food was actually quite amazing. We ordered a variety of dishes -- salmon, curry, flatbread/pizza -- and everything was phenomenal. The surprise dish that we all loved was kung pao cauliflower. Great attention to detail here, and great people watching as people came through the lobby for different events hosted at the hotel. We also had a toddler with us, and it was nice that we were in a place where we could take him out of the high chair and let him run around (supervised!) for a bit.
Great Food, very open yet has class. Great service!!
The service was fabulous and the food was delicious. I was there for a business lunch and the staff accommodated me in a variety of ways. I was able to preorder our lunches and they had them ready on time. I requested a quiet table and they found the perfect spot. The staff was friendly and eager to please. The food was delicious and the portions were generous.
While the food was good, the service was not-so-good. BAD actually. When we got there, about 5 mins before our reservation, nobody assisted us at the reservations check-in. The lady at the front desk helped us out and even helped set our table (where was the actual staff doing this?). Our table wasn't ready and I noticed that about 4-5 tables were uncleared from previous diners; bad first impression. We got seated by the front desk rep lady, again not a waitstaff member. We didn't get served water/bread for about 15 mins AFTER we've been seated. Seriously? Even for water? Awful! Throughout our meal, no one came by
to check on us to top waters, etc. They didn't clear our plates until the next meal was ready to be served. For instance, they came out with our dessert but had to set those down at a nearby table to clear our entree plates so they could serve our dessert (I'm banging my head against the wall at this point).
Other things I noticed: 1) There was a male waitstaff (maybe the bartender?) walking around the place but not helping. He took care of ONE customer at the bar. He did ask us if were were taken of for water/drinks/bread but that was it. He definitely could've pitched in and helped the waitstaff even if it wasn't his "job." What happened to being a team player? 2) We were seated apart from the rest of crowd which made getting service that much more difficult. I believe we were seated where we were b/c the other tables around us were left uncleared. 3) About half way through our dinner, an older couple was seated a table away from us. They were served promptly and had 2 waitstaff serving them (out of nowhere)! They must've been 'special'...
I do want to mention that this was for Christmas Day dinner so that may explain the lack of staff and service. And I assume they weren't motivated to be there on Christmas Day. Even still, that's no excuse to not have a table ready for folks who made reservations days in advance. Would NEVER go there again.
We went to the Christmas buffet lunch. The food was wonderful and there was a huge variety. I would certainly recommend to friends.
Nice buffet with a good selection of dishes and everything was well prepared & presented. I would go again.
We went for the Christmas Day brunch. Lots of food; none of it bad but none ultra-remarkable. Everything was nicely presented and there was plenty to choose from. All staff were kind, courteous, cheerful and very helpful.
Christmas brunch is totally worth it!
A great brunch option for Christmas Day in Seattle area! Loved the omelette station and bottomless mimosas!
We realized we needed a place to have dinner with family late and made a reservation here based on what we saw on Yelp. We were the only ones there, the service was slow and couldn't answer basic questions about nut allergies. The food was mediocre and the ambiance was non-existent.
I didn't realize this restaurant is in the lobby of the hotel. It has no ambiance and food and service were just ok. Probably fine if you were staying at the hotel and needed a bite to eat.
