   Have been here prior to new ownership & did read reviews about the new owners, however wanted to decide for ourselves. I can honestly say the food & service was second to none. Staff were very attentive, courteous & friendly & explained what each dish was (we went for the set menu). We will definitely return.

   We had the set menu hot and cold tapas. Wish we could have taken the left overs with us, it was so good. You can say what your preferences are so you get dishes you will like. Lots of food and very tasty. Very friendly attentive staff. It was half price Tuesday which made it exceptional value, although it would still have been good value at full price.

   Really enjoyed our evening at Sol y Sombra- lovely selection of tapas served by attentive staff. I hadn’t realised it was a set menu so there was more food than i’d have ideally wanted. Would be good to allow clients to order their own selection.

   Great experience, fantastic food and excellent service. We were delighted to get seating downstairs as we requested on the booking.

   The restaurant was immaculately clean and tidy. Staff was amazing and the food was excellent. The price for the food was great as we received large platefuls. I would recommend Sol y Sombra and will be returning again very soon.

   Easy booking system. Warmly welcomed on arrival at Sol y Sombra Tapas Bar and taken to our table. Very well looked after by the waiters who brought and explained what each dish consisted of..... the dishes kept coming! A very enjoyable lunch was had by us all.

    Experience was absolutely fantastic. Amazing veggie and alcohol free options for me - the smoked tofu was particularly delicious and the mojito mocktail was brilliant. Service was attentive but relaxed … which is quite a skill, and the atmosphere spot on.
